Amazing location ! Great breakfast!! Excellent customer service very helpful and friendly!! The only downside was the rooms as seemed a bit odd to have so small rooms and no double beds. Overall 7 maximum.

Spent a week here in October with my family. The hotel was absolutely beautiful- the renovation was great. Our room was spacious and lovely. The swimming pools were also great. We were able to swim every day

The beach is very pebbly as other people have described. But if you wear sandals in or water shoes it’s fine. The location is beautiful as well and perfect for exploring the area The food was delicious and varied

This is a lovely hotel on the edge of Kalamata. Refurbishment has been done very well and staff went out of their way to help. Pool and gardens are lovely as photos suggest

The hotel staff were lovely, quick, and always helpful. Not having an all inclusive option makes it more challenging with family. But the half board option worked

The rooms are large, cleaned daily exceptionally well by Cleopatra and kettle/ iron available on request. The pool is amazing and the free beach opposite offers clear water and a lovely view

Excellent customer service I give the Elite city resort in Kalamata 10/10 for the customer service. A minor problem was resolved extremely quickly

Bus to old town located in front of hotel for $1. Taxis were inexpensive, $6-7 euros. My favourite place in Greece to stay. It has everything! We didn’t want to leave

My kids enjoyed the amenities including the large beautiful pool. We wish the pool was open early and not at 11 am. The food at the hotel restaurant was just ok so we ended up dinning out a good number of nights

The free buffet breakfast was incredible. Tennis courts and playgrounds for children were top notch. The hotel is located right on a beautiful beach with chairs and umbrellas provided

Our room was quiet, bathroom was large custom shower , ample closet space and large bed. The the private pool outside was located in the very private garden outside our bedroom doors

Beautiful driftwood tables , comfortable sofas and chairs a most unique ceiling which duplicates the inside of a beehive it seems to absorb any sounds. Lighting that feels as if you’re viewing at the stars at night

There is a private beach and placid sea outside pool gate (1 minute walk. ) My husband and myself plan to return. Elysian was Accessible to other restaurants museums marina Priced moderately

The hotel is situated at a beautiful location just opposite of the beach. Amazing view, amazing cleanliness and such a great area inside and outside the hotel. The staff always ready to help you and always with a smile

We stayed two weeks at Atki Taygetos that is perfectly located for a stay in Kalamata and to explore the Peloponnese in the Mani Peninsula area

The warmth and efficient polite hotel staff made our stay enjoyable, lots of choices at breakfast, sun loungers were always available at the poolside side everything was an ease especially ordering from the poolside bar with staff were polite and efficient

Lovely and varied breakfast each morning, including lots of local produce. This is a resort for those who wish to have a comfortable base to explore the city and the extended area

This is not one of the bustling, loud resort were you fight for a pool space (thankfully) so whenever our children wanted to just stay in the pool area, they'd always be space

The hotel may be a bit outdated (the rooms though well renovated), but it truly strategically located by the sea

We like most of everything about this hotel except for the shower water. The pressure of the water in the shower was very weak and the temperature of the water was not consistent

Break fast was super, a lot of different food and preparations, always very fresh. The pool is big and at a nice temperature, calm atmosphere, ideal to have a break in our stressful lives

The biggest advantage is that it has its own private (relatively small but very nice) pebble beach and very nice sea right in its front

We had sodas by the magnificent pool (they serve cocktails if you like). There are 2 lovely banquette rooms near the pool. It would be fantastic to have a wedding reception at this place. I would go back in a heartbeat!

One of the nicest views you will ever see overlooking the sea/ocean. Anywhere you look out from the hotel you are looking at the water. Very clean hotel, great breakfast/full breakfast

The rooms are well appointed without being pretentious. It is nestles in the hills above a small quaint beach town. Yet has the quiet sophistication of being our a small city

A reasonable drive from much Greek history - great location to day trip from

And Giannis at the Apollon Bar by the Olympic pool added a personal touch by remembering our favorite drinks every time. Made us feel like more than just tourists. Would 100% recommend this place for families

Good! We just stayed one night. Nothing to complain about. Two really nice gentlemen welcomes us when we arrived, and the staff was flexible regarding checkin and checkout, which was highly appreciated!

We had a one night stay arriving late in the evening, but it was easy to find somewhere to eat, and the accommodation was very comfortable and clean.

This is not a luxury hotel, but it is in a great location overlooking the sea, it is clean and comfortable and great value for money

We were grateful we had booked this place along the beach. It felt much safer and nicer. We took a short beach walk in the morning before enjoying their very nice breafkast before heading out

We did a quick trip into the old part of Kalamata, but the castle was closed (3:30) and we weren't impressed with the commertial area. We came directly back to enjoy the beach

Nice hotel along the beach We enjoyed Hotel Flisvos. The room was very nice and clean. They had a drying rack on the deck, which allowed us to wash a few items of clothing

He then took me outside to show me exactly where the shop was. Breakfast provided an excellent choice and the ladies looking after the room were constantly refilling the platters to ensure there was enough

We have stayed at the Rex a few times over the years and have been more than satisfied on every occasion. Our room on the 4th floor was on the corner of the building and was flooded with light

Once I asked where I might buy an English newspaper and the gentleman on the desk not only gave me the information he then rang the shop to check they had one

The hotel is located right across the road from the beach with many bars and tavernas in short walking distance. We also walked into Kalamata centre which took about 20 minutes

Great hotel by the Marina...some parking available. The pool was closed for some reason. The hotel also has a Spa. Rooms average size with balconies. Nice coffee shop downstairs 😋

We got fresh towels and toiletries daily. Staff was super friendly and helped us find good restaurants in the area Location was great, although it is slightly off the main beach strip

This hotel is essentially a masterpiece of neo-Balkan architecture. The tiles on the floor seem to be in diagonal shape, which is quite amazing

Apart from the pandemic, my wife and I have been staying at the Haikos for two weeks every year in May, since 2016. Why do we keep going back? Words cannot describe enough how much we love the family owned and run hotel

Perfect location, not just to the beach but everywhere else in Kalamata and surrounding places. It even has its its own car park

Rooms and premises are ok if you're not too picky or too "vanilla". The location is great since it's just 6 meters from the beach and away from bars (so it's quiet enough)

Dramatic sunsets over a long reaching view. Comfortable bedroom with great sun bathing terrace. Although just a few miles outside Kalamata it was very well located for full day trips by car from the hotel.

The room comes with a huge balcony. The KING sized bed is great - these seem to be a rarity in Europe! Dinner was fantastic. Get the fruit place or poke bowl, both fresh and delicious. The price was very reasonable

Messinian Icon Hotel was one of our favorites of our stay in Greece. The view is mesmerizing, with the glimmering sea and mountains in the background. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming and helpful

Beautiful apartments located in the heart of kalamata with a beautiful view of the sea. Everything is a walking distance away. Only downfall is the parking in the evening. Everything else was great.

Receptionist/breakfast server gets special praise due to her enthusiasm. There is parking next to the hotel Hotel is located on a busyish road however the double glazing means the room is quiet at night

Our room although small had everything we needed, comfortable bed, air con, fridge, in room safe, TV and a furnished balcony with a good view towards the distant mountains
