Excellent location. All that you want in a hotel .. and more. Access to private beach. Don't care for salty (or rough) water? Awesome, plus-size pool with full pool-side service. Enjoy a Mai Tai or a glass of wine with fruit. More amenities (spa, gym, etc. that we didn't get the chance to enjoy).

Very dated and tired hotel with lots of things broken or looking past their best. There is no shower curtain or screen so the bathroom floods. Customer service was top notch! Our group lost our luggage thanks to Sky Express and Paris at the front desk went above and beyond to locate and have it delivered. The pool is large, the rooms are clean and the breakfast has a lot of options. It helps that the beach is literally across the street.

Decent service, good wifi, this hotel has a great view of Kalamata air conditioning and a fan are available too. The problem is the rooms weren't that good themselves; nothing fascinating to be honest. Some outdoor chairs were unstable and the bathroom was horrible. It is ok to stay there for a few days but not any longer.

Oh this place is just wonderful! It is walking distance to restaurants and other food places. The staff are just so friendly and go over the top for you, will call you a taxi, recommend places, help you take your suitcases around. For a 2 star hotel, it is absolutely AMAZING. The Haikos Hotel, is our favourite hotel, not just in Kalamata but of all the hotels we have stayed anyway. It should be classified as higher star rated hotel. We got a nice room on the third floor overlooking the messinian golf. Our stay was really pleasant and staff was very helpful! Except from a few details such as that the window lock was not working and we had a narrow shower space this hotel’s experience was above a two star hotel and recommended.

For a 2* star hotel, it is clearly above this standard. The rooms are clean and the guest service is great. You feel welcome from the start and are given all the information you need. Good value if under $120. Great views and breakfast buffet! On the negative side, it’s way up on a hill, roads not easily walkable and the road surface very rough for most small cars. Hotel with an amazing view and great potential. The rooms were well lit with big balconies to enjoy your coffee. The table in our room looked cheap though and one of the legs was broken. Our toilet flush was also broken. When asked for an iron we were given one which was full of scale and didn’t look great.
