Hotels with pool in Kalamata

Spent a week here in October with my family. The hotel was absolutely beautiful- the renovation was great. Our room was spacious and lovely. The swimming pools were also great. We were able to swim every day

The beach is very pebbly as other people have described. But if you wear sandals in or water shoes it’s fine. The location is beautiful as well and perfect for exploring the area The food was delicious and varied

Definitely a great hotel and would highly recommend a visit

We asked for some pool towels but these never arrived. Possibly the lady had just finished her day and was heading home

This is a lovely hotel on the edge of Kalamata. Refurbishment has been done very well and staff went out of their way to help. Pool and gardens are lovely as photos suggest

I am 65 years old, but that’s my hotel that’s our place that’s where we belong, Filoxenia, kalamata, A very very big thank you to Miss Stavroulla,, to Mr Antonis , all the young and beautiful , waiters and waitresses which their names I forgot , Mr Nikos the Manager, Maria,, my apologies for forgetting some names , the best holiday , next year again, thank you again kalamata,,,,,,

The hotel is across the street from the beach, but they have a tunnel to go under the road safely to get to the beach. They have enough pool chairs for everyone and provide you a towel

My kids enjoyed the amenities including the large beautiful pool. We wish the pool was open early and not at 11 am. The food at the hotel restaurant was just ok so we ended up dinning out a good number of nights

The rooms are large, cleaned daily exceptionally well by Cleopatra and kettle/ iron available on request. The pool is amazing and the free beach opposite offers clear water and a lovely view

I would consider this a 5 star resort. The bungalow we stayed in was modern, clean and spacious. Some bungalows had private pools. Incredible value! The pool was gigantic and well maintained

Nice resort Nice resort opposite the beach. We also had access to a massive swimming pool area. The rooms were large and beds were comfortable. All staff were really friendly

Our room was quiet, bathroom was large custom shower , ample closet space and large bed. The the private pool outside was located in the very private garden outside our bedroom doors

The room was spacious, bed very comfortable all amenities available daily linens and clean- service ( this is the only lodging we had been given 4 pillows in our travels )🥳The employees take great pride and as example we were last minute to find a tour and a place to do Laundry

A very nice hotel, but a bit disappointing, we arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and asked before paying if there was a spa in the hotel, they told us there was a hot pool and a spa that closed in about two hours, we were happy because it was exactly what we wanted after a day of riding a motorcycle

: We were more than pleasantly surprised when we first pulled into the Elysian. As a contractor designer I truly appreciated the unique large and small elements and comfort the Elysian had to offer

There is a private beach and placid sea outside pool gate (1 minute walk. ) My husband and myself plan to return. Elysian was Accessible to other restaurants museums marina Priced moderately

Even the dining area has a natural randomness and uniqueness in their seating. Did I mention the series of swimming pools, comfortable lounge chairs and cabanas

The warmth and efficient polite hotel staff made our stay enjoyable, lots of choices at breakfast, sun loungers were always available at the poolside side everything was an ease especially ordering from the poolside bar with staff were polite and efficient

Great Resort Hotel room was very clean with a balcony and a view on the sea. The pool and bar were very pleasant and the food was tasty and plenty. Staff was very pleasant and helpful A great catch near Kalamata !!!

This is not one of the bustling, loud resort were you fight for a pool space (thankfully) so whenever our children wanted to just stay in the pool area, they'd always be space

Lovely resort hotel, excellent restaurant Spent one night here on the way between Nafplio and Olympia, it was early March and still the off season so not many guests but staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast buffet was fabulous and the dinner we ate in the restaurant was delicious

Lovely and varied breakfast each morning, including lots of local produce. This is a resort for those who wish to have a comfortable base to explore the city and the extended area

We have really great time at the hotel. Nice, clean room, beautiful swimming pool area, nice beach, very clear sea. Very friendly and helpful stuff, great breakfast buffet, fresh fruits, very good dinner

Break fast was super, a lot of different food and preparations, always very fresh. The pool is big and at a nice temperature, calm atmosphere, ideal to have a break in our stressful lives

We took a lot the taxi to go to Kalamata and they always phone for us in Greek, very helpful ! The room was very big and clean, bed confortable, sheets changed every day, amazing view on the sea and Kalamata city

I stayed in Messinian Bay Hotel for 7 nights with my partner. The Staff were very nice and helpful, they know a lot about the local activities and good prices

Really great!!! I often live in Kalamata, and from now on they have become my favorite place to live!

The Garden City Hotel is not far away from the beach (approx 4 min walk). It is also not far from the city centre (approx 10 min walk) and a small park is also not far away

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Lots of hot water and great water pressure. Breakfast was expansive and delicious. Very friendly staff and superb location.

We stayed here in July for 2 nights and one in August. We would have stayed longer in August but they were full Great location a short walk to sea. Nice pool which wasn’t too crowded and plenty of comfy sunbeds

The location was fantastic, a very short walk to the beach and we asked for beach towels and they were provided to us. Kalamata Town Centre is a 15 min walk. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful

Staff were attentive and friendly, providing us with great recommendations for food and beaches nearby. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety and choice, catering to all dietary requirements

All wishes were taken into account and since there were few guests at our time 06/2025, we always got loungers by the pool and also direct places for breakfast by the water

We had sodas by the magnificent pool (they serve cocktails if you like). There are 2 lovely banquette rooms near the pool. It would be fantastic to have a wedding reception at this place. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Amazing view, perched high above city. Clean rooms. Plentiful breakfast. Center of Kalamata not too far. Owners and Staff friendly.

One of the nicest views you will ever see overlooking the sea/ocean. Anywhere you look out from the hotel you are looking at the water. Very clean hotel, great breakfast/full breakfast

And Giannis at the Apollon Bar by the Olympic pool added a personal touch by remembering our favorite drinks every time. Made us feel like more than just tourists. Would 100% recommend this place for families

Just got back from an incredible week at the Belvedere resort. The hotel was beautiful — clean rooms, plenty of pools, and loads of activities for all ages

The rooms are well appointed without being pretentious. It is nestles in the hills above a small quaint beach town. Yet has the quiet sophistication of being our a small city

Great location with friendly and hospitable staff. Location is right across from the beach. Having the hotel breakfast across the road from the hotel was a memorable and great way to start the day

The hotel is located right across the road from the beach with many bars and tavernas in short walking distance. We also walked into Kalamata centre which took about 20 minutes

It was als easu to drive to from the airport and there is sufficient parking in the local area. The bed was very comfotable and the room was very clean. We would toroughly recomment Hotel Ostria

Convenient location to the dining options which are plentiful. Rooms are large and well set out. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again

Friendly and welcoming staff, very good location on the beach front which was perfect for a morning dip, breakfast ok, good value for the area, parking not too hard to find considering the location, our family room had a side sea view and view across to the mountains, most have a sea view, air-con quite noisy

We got fresh towels and toiletries daily. Staff was super friendly and helped us find good restaurants in the area Location was great, although it is slightly off the main beach strip

Great hotel by the Marina...some parking available. The pool was closed for some reason. The hotel also has a Spa. Rooms average size with balconies. Nice coffee shop downstairs 😋

The rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff is very friendly. However, unfortunately, there were photos showing a pool, but there was no pool. There was also no gym, spa, or hammam

Free breakfast offering all kinds of foods Parking was easy to find although there are only a few spots right in front of the hotel. A little loud in the evening but the patio door was decently insulated

Great place to be in Kalamata. Excellent view over the harbour and into the mountains... Hendrick's Gin with cucumber as in Hamburg and Düsseldorf. Food is great! Simply enjoy!

We like most of everything about this hotel except for the shower water. The pressure of the water in the shower was very weak and the temperature of the water was not consistent

We stayed in a garden room which was lovely although not much clothes storage or hanging space (and my two daughters sharing a room didn't appreciate the semi-transparent bathroom doors!) As elsewhere in Greece, it's no loo paper down the toilet which is tricky to navigate and could do with a better solution than a standard pedal bin (better sealed unit? Bidet?)

The main issue is the poor link between the calendar and the activity that meant one struggled to book days ahead. At no point was it clear that there were further charges. This was an all inclusive holiday right

However, when we arrived we were told that we had to be out the room by 3. What's the use in that! Further more, I asked at reception if we could stay in the room until 5. We came back to the room at 4

The week I was there was extremely busy and I was unable to get on the "red" level sailing courses more than once and the tennis sessions were stupidly busy at times

Wrong, there is a local tax payable- Eu105 over the week. Lack of transparency is frustrating. We paid for extended check out (Eu50) as our bus left at 7

Very nice hotel with convenient access to the beach and Mani peninsula area. The staff was exceptional and went out of their way to make me feel like a welcome guest

We just visited the beach in front of the hotel, took a swim and had some coffee and drinks at the beach. Great, friendly and fast service. Good prices.

Rooms and premises are ok if you're not too picky or too "vanilla". The location is great since it's just 6 meters from the beach and away from bars (so it's quiet enough)

It could be cleaner but that does not include the bathroom and bed which (which are very clean)

Giannis, who I was in touch with, showed interest in my travel plans and and shared hints/tips about how to get to different locations. Also there are plenty of coffee shops nearby with options for breakfasts/dinners

We were there in early May and the pool was warm enough for swimming. What a gorgeous place! Five stars all the way

The room comes with a huge balcony. The KING sized bed is great - these seem to be a rarity in Europe! Dinner was fantastic. Get the fruit place or poke bowl, both fresh and delicious. The price was very reasonable

Messinian Icon Hotel was one of our favorites of our stay in Greece. The view is mesmerizing, with the glimmering sea and mountains in the background. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming and helpful

I stayed at the same hotel a few years ago and it was fantastic but the property itself is wonderful design easy access to the beach and the pool is fantastic

We loved our stay at Horizon Blu! The view from our room was to die for and the breakfast buffet was wonderful every morning. The beach was a very short walk and had comfortable loungers with cute umbrellas

room was very clean and they could upgrade the mattresses. The breakfast wasn’t as good as I remember it. I stayed a few years back and the quality has gone down, but otherwise I enjoyed it.

Bathroom was again compact however had a good shower, fluffy towels and expel air. The roof top pool area was a great. When we were there early June we were the only guests using it so it felt very private

Receptionist/breakfast server gets special praise due to her enthusiasm. There is parking next to the hotel Hotel is located on a busyish road however the double glazing means the room is quiet at night

Within walking distance are the seafront cafes and restaurants, as well as the beach, and shops further along the road near the lovely Railway Park. This place is really good value for money: a gem

We stayed here for 3 nights following some time in Athens just to rest and then pick up a car for our Peloponnese tour. Hotel is exceptional value for money
