Apollo Resort Art Hotel in Kyparissia

From the moment we arrived at Apollo Art Hotel in Kyparissia, we were welcomed like family. Despite our late arrival, the owner personally made us a delicious meal, a gesture that truly set the tone for our current stay – warm, thoughtful, and above all, genuine hospitality.

The hotel itself is spotless – impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, with every detail clearly cared for by a small, dedicated team that goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Above all, it feels safe. It’s rare to find such personalized service these days, and it makes all the difference.

The facilities are excellent – from the relaxing pool area to the cozy communal spaces, everything has been designed with comfort in mind.

Visiting at the tail end of the season, some facilities such as the rooftop restaurant are understandably closed, something we were aware of before hand and is not detracting from our visit. The rooftop does remain open for us to enjoy.

The food is consistently fantastic, offering fresh, local flavors that showcased the best of Greek cuisine from a local person who goes out of their way to ensure satisfaction. Every meal feels home-cooked with heart.

The location is another huge plus. Kyparissia is a lovely, quiet town and a perfect base to explore the Peloponnese. A stunning beach with private feeling just a walk through the olive Grove. From here, we are easily visiting incredible sites like Ancient Olympia, Messene, and beautiful beaches, all without the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas. It will serve us well as a Base to visit further afield to Kefalonia and Athens.

In short, Apollo Art Hotel is the kind of place you wish you could keep a secret – but it deserves to be shared. A perfectly run boutique hotel, with heartfelt service, a gorgeous setting, and the kind of hospitality that stays with you long after you leave.

The hotel was extremely friendly and welcoming . Staff went out of there way on a late arrival to provide some food.local information given was great especially from the owner who recommended a beautiful beach nearby that was less than 10 minutes walk. Rooms are not large but adequate and kept immaculately clean, and we had a lovely view from balcony. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of foods many local , and plentiful supply and top up and served until 10.30 am. Pool has plenty of loungers and is sparkling clean with a large seating area surrounding it. The start of the hike is the roof top with 360 degree views over sea, mountains etc, we had breakfast served there th first day🌞 Unfortunately a storm approaching meant we were not able to eat up there again, even after it had passed. This was the only downside for our stay, it was the last week of Sept but the roof terrace was packed away and no comfy seating or lighting left for those staying at end of season. It would have been Ben Nic to continue to watch the sunset in comfort by leaving a limited amount of seating that could be covered if needed.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at the Apollo in this beautiful part of the Peloponnese. Georgia and ALL of the hotel staff work so hard and did everything possible to make our stay memorable. The room was spotlessly clean and the whole hotel smelt lovely. The pool area is quiet, no blaring music, and private. The hi-light is the roof top restaurant/bar. The views are stunning whichever way you looked and we experienced some beautiful sunsets. There was a great selection of savoury, sweet, hot and cold food at breakfast. We ate in the restaurant, in the evening, on four occasions; all meals were well cooked and presented - beware the 'main courses' are large and could easily be shared between two. Highly recommend staying at the Apollo!

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the hotel. Greek hospitality at its finest. The location was perfect - so peaceful; far from the traffic and crowds with only the sound of the waves and the sea close by. I can’t praise the staff and services enough - so friendly and helpful with suggestions for places to eat, the best beaches in the area and the local sites and places of interest. Live music and delicious food at the rooftop restaurant/bar was a highlight of our stay. If you’re looking for family friendly atmosphere, look no further.

Hotel set in a lovely, private and quiet location, with wonderful sunsets and mountain views. Roof top restaurant is excellent. Slightly idiosyncratic bill paying system,...timing of the bil..otherwise a great place and we will return

We absolutely loved our time here. The rooftop restaurant is a highlight — delicious and varied breakfasts every morning with a breathtaking view over Kyparissia, the mountains, and the castle. The scent of lavender in the air makes the experience even more magical. During our stay, there were lovely live concerts on the rooftop terrace twice a week, adding to the relaxing and elegant atmosphere. The hotel has a unique artistic vibe, with beautiful and original paintings decorating the interiors. The atmosphere is peaceful and inspiring. The pool area is spacious and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing day or night. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a charming and relaxing stay in the Peloponnese!
