Vasilikos Beach in Vasilikos

My Wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel for 10 nights. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Fantastic staff made everything perfect. Only the weather let us down, having thunderstorms for a few days. There are a couple of tavernas a minutes walk away and a couple more on the beach which is only around 200m away. The breakfast was great too, with eggs, bacon, beans and sausages. Also greek yoghurt, fruit and pastries as well. A great pool and no fighting for sunbeds. I am sure we will be back.

Excellent hotel in quiet, peaceful surroundings. I really enjoyed my stay here despite the fairly dreadful weather,( thunderstorms and rain almost all week). I booked a superior room which was spacious and comfortable and kept immaculately clean by the staff, who were all lovely and friendly. Breakfast was a buffet and there was a good choice of food. The bar served a nice range of food all day and the cocktails were fab. A mini market and a couple of Tavernas opposite the hotel and more a short walk away. Lovely beach (St Nicholas) 200m from hotel and others nearby. Vasilikos has no "*****" therefore no English/Irish pubs, karaoke, tribute bands, tattoo parlours etc which was why I chose it, but there is all that in Argassi , about 7 miles away. It is not far from Zakinthos town too. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who just wants a relaxing holiday and likes peace and quiet.

Visited for 2 weeks in September and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel was everything we hoped for. So much so that the day after we got back home we booked again for next year. Thanks to every member of staff for giving us a holiday to remember.

Been an amazingly relaxing break. Beautiful location, great breakfast and the place is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Obliging and friendly staff and the pizza is worth trying. Plenty of places to eat out locally and the hotel bar inside and out offers a great place to chill out and enjoy a drink in the evening. The pool area is lovely and the local beaches are close by and worth stepping out for. Reception staff were really helpful and sorted out car hire and an immediate room change on arrival. Our tour operator had not requested a double room. Our room was cleaned and maintained thoroughly throughout our stay. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Only been here a couple of days but loving the vibe. Pool area is lovely and Daria who mans the bar is so friendly and helpful. Other staff are welcoming and friendly too. Local restaurants serve good local food. Rooms are clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend.

Hotel Beautiful, well maintained, clean, staff lovely. Nice bbq area which was never used to entertain guests. Note to Hillary , hotel manager BBQ night once a week, pool aerobics couple of times a week ? I’m up for the job ? lol Rooms We stayed in room 121 which is in the oldest block of 3 above reception. Yes the rooms here are a little tired compared to the superior rooms but still they were cleaned every day by the amazing cleaners. Yes the shower curtain does attack you like a Venus fly trap when your in it , the floor doe get wet but hey ho your on holiday folks. Beds are adequate, just ask for extra pillows. We don’t go on holiday to live in your room and moan about the tiniest crack in a tile and the dodgy mastic in the shower ! If you do go for that reason pay for a superior room which looked amazing. Pool Stunning ,clean, no getting up at silly o’clock to get sun bed !. Location Yes it is quiet here but that’s great if that’s your thing. There are buses 4 times a day, only 2 euros pp. They don’t arrive on time, but that’s Greece ,that’s part of the experience . The beaches are beautiful, closest 5 mins. Hire a car ,turn right out of hotel, 100m up on left. You can do a deal for cash here , 120 euros for 2 days ,seven seat Zafira. It’s not the poshest hire company, the cars are older but that’s a good thing. No fretting about where you’ve parked it etc… lol. There are only a couple of restaurants 2 mins away and a supermarket but the food was great in both. There are a few more that take about twenty mins to walk to but if you have car go to Agassi or Kalamaki, 25 min drive. Hotel food is lovely. Breakfast is totally amazing 8 till 10am. There is a bakery and bigger supermarket 10 min walk away. George in the bakery is a lovey young guy with the driest sense of humour and so funny a credit to his mum and dad who own both supermarkets as well. We went here every day for a drink , for his humour and to watch the world go by for an hour. His cats and chickens will keep you entertained. Overall Beautiful hotel, quiet, relaxing ,beautiful surroundings Hire a car if you don’t want to sit at pool or beach all day but perfect if that is your thing. Excellent stay overall Would we go back, for a day at the pool ,absolutely, for two weeks maybe not but do not put this off in anyway from going here as we have been lucky enough to go on holiday regularly and have never returned to the same hotel ever. A few families we met whilst there have been returning for years ! By the way the people we met whilst there were lovely and hope to keep in touch. Been to zante twice and would definitely come again, weather beautiful and especially Greek locals are always great hosts.

We stayed here for the first time in June for 18 nights. We have been all over zante but this was first time in vassilikos. The apartment was absolutely superb. Hillary Roxanne Giannis and staff were absolutely fabulous and made our stay so special. The pool area is beautiful, beds free, plenty of spaces . Food delicious .. the bar is lovely in the evening. We loved st nicholas beach.. probably one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen the sea is crystal clear and warm We will be booking for 2026. Oh and the dogs bailey and balloo were lovely!!! Mark and nicky room 105
