Karalis Beach in Pylos

5 stars isn't enough for this place! 😍 I just spent 4 nights at this stunning waterfront hotel and I'm still pinching myself. The sea views are literally breathtaking - every morning I'd wake up to a glistening sunrise over the water, and every evening I'd watch the sunset paint the sky with hues of pink and orange. 🌅

The breakfast spread is delightful, with plenty of options to start your day off right. And the rooms? Comfy doesn't even begin to describe it. The shower is like a little slice of heaven, and the cleanliness and ample space make you feel like you're living large. 🛏️🚿

If you're looking for a quiet relaxing getaway with unbeatable views, look no further. This hotel has it all!
Short stroll into the beautiful restaurants in Pilos town.

Karalis Beach Hotel was fantastic. We loved our stay. The rooms are spacious and have amazing views (I assume all of them are on the water side). The breakfast is worth it alone. So much to choose from and eggs cooked how you would like. Delicious. The parking is super easy. At the end of the road so lots of free, street parking. A two minute walk into the town but a quiet oasis. We highly recommend.

We had forgotten items in the room and the Hotel was very helpful in sending them abraod back to us.

Outside the main town, at the end of the road, below the castle. Some rooms enjoy views over the bay. Well designed rooms, perhaps a tad smaller than I expected, but not cramped. Lovely balcony with real plants growing in built-in jardinieres.
Breakfast served on the top floor is nothing short of amazing, a great selection of almost everything I can think of.
Another bonus is the ability to have a swim before breakfast off the hotels own steps into the sea.
The "beach" maybe only a small imported area of sand but it does what sand always does and gets everywhere you don't want it to. Sitting on the sun loungers in the afternoon is one of life's great pleasures as is having a bar open until 6.00 outside peak season.
There is plenty of parking and the best attraction in town, the castle is only a few minutes walk away.
It's so close it should be impossible not to visit.

Fantastic 3 day stay - Brilliant location - Clean, delightful rooms - very good value - short walk to many restaurants in Pilos town square and pretty quayside - short electric bike ride to fishing village on other side of bay - also with 15 great places to eat

The best place in Pylos without question. Lovely, quiet location right at the end of the town, perched on the cliff, beneath the castle walls.

Room 300 is like magic. On the first floor at the end with double aspect wall to wall windows with electric shutters so you can go to sleep seeing the sea all around you. Interesting decor with a sea theme , wooden ceiling , marble tops, waterfall shower with a porthole looking far out to sea and a nespresso machine. Interesting , comfortable and unique.

Charming staff , plentiful breakfast, and swimming off the terrace was really lovely.

We went end of May. The weather was quite windy , too windy to lie out and the hotel’s season, as they point out on the website, does not start until mid-June. You can see why. The beach bar was not open and the deck area was not ready and there was a bit of drilling. There is also no restaurant in the hotel . It really doesn’t matter as the town is right there with a plethora of eateries but be aware.

However , it was such completely lovely escape it does not deserve anything else than a 5 *

The view from the Karalis Beach Hotel is simply wonderful. Perched above the bay, the sunsets are stunning. On our junior suite terrace, we watched the boats come into the town square dock. The rooms are redone and just beautiful. Breakfast is on the terrace looking out to sea. The buffet is a traditional Greek spread with espresso and fresh orange juice along with eggs cooked to order and all of the accoutrements. Athough there is not a beach, you can walk into the crystal clear water from the steps by the artificial sandy terrace. It is about a 5 minute walk into town - a special place Pylos is and this hotel exceeded our expectations! Bravo! Efkaristo Karalis Beach.

Great location in Pylos with lovely view of the bay. You can swim from the hotel and see all the gorgeous coloured fishes. Our room was a good size with everything we needed and good shower. Good storage and a fridge. We loved our balcony watching the boats come and go. Easy parking and an amazing breakfast.
