Elysian Luxury Hotel & Spa in Kalamata

We visited the hotel this week... The experience is the best... It creates an atmosphere so that you don't want to leave this place all day... Wonderful breakfast with so much natural orange juice, very neat swimming pool with special features, food by the pool even with live music on the day we were... Large rooms with beautiful decor..

Our review. :
We were more than pleasantly surprised when we first pulled into the Elysian.
As a contractor designer I truly appreciated the unique large and small elements and comfort the Elysian had to offer.
Checkin was private and personal quality time was given throughout our stay .
Service was offered day and evening, bar and food was available all day night. Food was excellent.
Our room was quiet, bathroom was large custom shower , ample closet space and large bed.The the private pool outside was located in the very private garden outside our bedroom doors. The room was spacious, bed very comfortable all amenities available daily linens and clean- service ( this is the only lodging we had been given 4 pillows in our travels )🥳The employees take great pride and as example we were last minute to find a tour and a place to do Laundry. Natalia was able to have our laundry clean and delivered back to our room in 3hrs

Elysian hotel is a stellar example in The art form of hospitality

When you enter the hotel It’s unique throughout although in a subtle and artistic way, the architecture is unique and the hotel main entry is large but feels cozy the minute you walk in.
Beautiful driftwood tables , comfortable sofas and chairs a most unique ceiling which duplicates the inside of a beehive it seems to absorb any sounds.
Lighting that feels as if you’re viewing at the stars at night. Even the dining area has a natural randomness and uniqueness in their seating.
Did I mention the series of swimming pools, comfortable lounge chairs and cabanas. There is a private beach and placid sea outside pool gate (1 minute walk.)
My husband and myself plan to return.

We were staying in Kardamyli and called the night before to ask if they could do a Spa Day as the weather was going to be awful. The Spa Manager was so wonderful and accommodated all 4 of us at such short notice. She made a massive effort over and above the call of duty to ensure we had everything we needed to spend a relaxing 4 hours being pampered with massages , spa pool and hamman steam - I cannot recommend it enough and the hotel itself looks gorgeous with great coffee and juices! 🙏❤️

Set in a beautiful garden with lots of sunbeds and other features. Great pool, and a blue flag is just across the street. Everything is well maintained, service is attentive and very friendly, food is great. When we visited in early September, the hotel wasn't busy at all, and most of the fellow guests were Greek. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Elysian Hotel!

The staff was incredibly polite and helpful, and our room was spotlessly clean and spacious. While the room lacked a convenient arrangement, we still enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was a major highlight. There were so many fresh options, and the individual bottles of freshly squeezed orange juice were a fantastic touch. The only downside was that there was no coffee available at the buffet, and we had to order it separately for an additional charge.

The swimming pool was absolutely amazing! It's a truly beautiful space, though I wouldn't recommend it for a quiet couple's retreat as there were many children there.

The hair dryer in the room was also very poor—it overheated and shut off after just a few minutes of use.

Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel, especially if you're traveling with family.

Very fine resort with access to the beach, excellent restaurant. Secure, private, quiet, away from city center. To go anywhere you need to walk or have a car.

Lovely venue
I got talking to the gardener. What a lovely chap .
Randomly had a very long conversation.
Later on in the afternoon he was still working there. I asked him if he was not tired. He was elderly type gentleman.
Apparently I found out it was the owner. What a humble person.

The name is a bit misleading. This accommodation is more like a luxury apartment resort with five star amenities. The rooms are cleaned well and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is fine, just what you can expect from an included breakfast. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the city centre, but for the money you can't complain. The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly (a bit much for my taste).
The spa is absolutely amazing. Great experienced staff for the massage and it was very nice and relaxing.
