A la cart restaurants we used were the greek which we felt rushed. Everything came at once before we had finished a coures. The Aisan however was amazing, a must if you have only 1 chance to book.
There is nothing in the immediate surrounding area apart from a few mini markets and resembles wasteland but that is no fault of the hotel itself, just something to be mindfull of if visiting.
Food is the best I’ve had at an all inclusive hotel. Lots of different options and the á la carte is also great. Great service. Lots of different activities. Really recommend!
For families with children, I’m sure it’s fine. But, it’s noisy, with limited access to space if you just want a quiet drink in the evening. Parties around the pool and rooms going on into the evening playing the Macarena type vibe.

On the positive side, most of the staff were very professional and friendly. The hotel, however, is mainly suitable for families with children, as most of the entertainment is for kids. If you don’t have children, the only real option for leisure is the pool.
The food was very average, with only an occasional special dish in the evenings. The restaurant experience varied, but overall I would not consider it 5-star quality. From midday, all drinks are served in paper cups, and pool towels are only replaced every two days.
The water park was a nice experience, but overall, this hotel did not feel like a true 5-star resort.
