A great hotel, with good rooms and facilities. We went in october and the pool was a little cold however the sea wasnt to bad. We booked a supior family room with sea view and it was great. Plenty of room looked modern and the beds were really comfy. The facilities we good the snake bar and greek/Italian resturant were nice. The food in the main resturant was nice but felt a little repative. The animation team work really hard, Tibi and Boogy were really good with all the people staying g gettign them involved with activities if they wanted too. The night time entertainment was decent, enough to keep you amused and in the hotel. If youw wanted to step outside the hotel there were plenty of bars and resturants a few minutes walk away. Or a taxi or shuttle bus in to rhodes town was not expensive.

We got a great deal on this place as it was end of season (very end, it shut the day we left) but met multiple couples who payed over double what we did.
The welcome was pleasant and helpful and we had been upgraded to a twin room. The atmosphere was also nice, quiet due to the time of year but still a bit of a buzz with children playing football and adults lounging about. The sun was setting and being right in the beach this looked amazing!
Our room was one double bed (two singles pushed together and two single beds in a lower section. The room was quite clean apart from under the bed where there was a lot of dust, bits and even a soft toy. The room was outdated but did the job for what we payed and they have now got newer rooms. The room was hot when first walked in but the receptionist helped us solve this as the AC had been left on hot, but, as the aircon was downstairs with the two single beds, getting the upstairs where we slept to be cool was hard. There were also only two sockets in the room, neither of which were anywhere near the beds, no kettle or tea/coffee (you can get coffee from near the beach but still expected) and no iron. The balcony was a nice touch with a sea view, but only when standing as the front was frosted glass, I assume for privacy, but it meant we didn’t really use it. The door key to the room was also odd as the lock was too close to the frame (actually cutting a chunk out of it) meaning you had to unlock and then quickly move your hand out of the way so it didn’t get trapped.
We went for drinks, which were nice, very sweet, but better than some other resorts we’ve stayed at, the beer and Avra beach special were particularly nice! The service was polite, not particularly friendly but fast and decent. We then tried the buffet which was good! Not the widest range of foods but with a different theme each night, there was enough to keep everyone happy!
The entertainment was not great but for end of season to about 30 people it was ok. The entertainment guys were a little pushy and would sit on your table and not get the prompt to leave us be.
The next day one of the staff upset my partner by commenting on her body, a completely unacceptable thing for anyone to say to someone, let alone a member of staff. I spoke to the manager who apologised and was nice about it.
We took a few trips to the old town and Symi island (highly recommended) and were well organised by the on site excursion company.
I did ask for an iron at one point and was directed to a ‘laundry room’, basically dirty staff room full of sheets, a plastic cup full of cig butts and one broken iron (took us over half an hour to get it working). One iron for a whole hotel is crazy!
We did enjoy our stay but was disappointed by the resort, and would have been very upset if we had paid what we know other couples we met had paid (one of which arrived to there room and it hadn’t been cleaned and still had towels on the floor and a pile of sheets on the bed.)
Definitely more of a family resort than romantic and in the height of summer, with more people there and the staff in full flow it could be nice but unfortunately not our experience :(

Travelled to Avra Beach one week ago. This was our first visit and certainly won’t be our last! We absolutely loved it. Myself, husband and 5 year old daughter. We arrived after 11pm and still managed to get a snack and drink before bed. Location- Situated on a quiet area but still shops, bars, restaurants and a few supermarkets within walking distance. We took a bus into the old town and I loved it! So many shops and ancient buildings. The marina was simply beautiful. Atmosphere in the hotel was lively but not chaotic. Very very family orientated. The staff were really great. I was really impressed with their English! The animation team in my eyes deserve a special shout out. They went above and beyond to make every family feel welcome! They spoke daily and encouraged everyone to join in, but weren’t pushy. You can tell they were made for the job they do. We stayed in a standard family room which I feel was slightly dated however, clean and I think we got a bargain for the price we paid! Beds were very comfortable. One thing I would say is the walls are very thin. The restaurants and food.. MY GOD. Best all inclusive I have ever had. Fresh pizza, salad, gyros etc all day by the pool. Ice cream, waffles, sandwiches. Then the main restaurant, plentiful delicious breakfast, tasty lunch and themed dinners every evening. Honestly for all inclusive the options and flavours were top class. Pool beautiful, as you can imagine cold in October but that’s expected! Beautiful beach with volley ball court! One small negative thing I would say, I feel there should be more sun loungers around the pool and beach? There are signs about not reserving beds, but they seem to be ignored. We always eventually did get beds/seats but I imagine it would be much more difficult peak season. Overall, we’ve already priced and are planning to return before the end of the summer! I think the staff deserve really went above and beyond. It seems they make a real effort to remember each family, likes and dislikes, previous orders etc. Give them a raise!

My wife and 1 arrived on Friday 3rd October approximately 11.45pm checked in with reception staff and were given our room key card. After a long day spent travelling we decided to go straight to the bar where we were made very welcome and had a couple of drinks. We made our way up to our room !!!!!! So very basic with a lovely view of the main road along with the constant noise of traffic - my wife's face sank to the ground and she started crying - when we booked the holiday through a travel agent we mentioned we were celebrating our Ruby wedding anniversary and the agent requested a warm welcoming room with a bit of a splash - anniversary theme ? well obviously this room was totally the opposite !! After spending our first night in twin beds (pushed together to look like a double) we made our way down to reception to enquire about something else The lovely lady on reception whose name is Kiriaki asked us how we enjoyed our first night !!!! I very politely brought up our total disappointment with the room and without hesitation she told us to pack everything up and transferred us to a Beautiful room that was decorated with roses, balloons, towels made into swans kissing in the shape of a love heart bottle of wine with two glasses couldn't of asked for more - She totally transferred our start to the holiday The food was plentiful with so much variety - if you couldn't find anything you liked there is something wrong with you !! well stocked bars. The staff were really friendly and helpful constantly cleaning up with smiles on their faces. The hotel is right on the beach with ample loungers to soak up the sun and relax There is a main restaurant an outside mini restaurant by the beach and a bar open all day brilliant location close to some small well stocked shops and bus route to Rhodes entertainment themes and very relaxing seating inside for later on lovely clean pools by the bar area for those who prefer swimming instead of the sea All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back Thank you Avra Beach and of course Kiriaki who made us feel special

The positives; The hotel is a great resort with everything you could need to make a wonderful stay. The location is great if you want to go and explore the Island or even just the local area. The reception staff will advise you of anything you need and the Old Town is very close. You will receive a wonderful welcome from the reception staff, they couldn’t be more helpful! The rooms are lovely and beds are very comfortable, all rooms have aircon and wifi, there are lifts and it’s very accessible. I have never stayed in a place kept so clean, the housekeeping (and maintenance) teams are nothing short of incredible. Unlike so many other “all inclusives”, this hotel is, the breakfast is magnificent and there’s food available all day, please don’t miss the Greek/Italian bistro areas during the day. It’s such a good sign you see the head chef all day walking between all the areas ensuring the high standard is met. Dinner is a variety of options, highly recommend the Asian Fusion night and always save room for the indescribable puddings. We always found a good variety and a high standard. The Animation team work so hard (a well earned day off on a Thursday) providing activities, kids club, and generally keeping the entertainment going. Special mentions go to the beautiful Bee who is a wonderful soul and Boogie, you have to meet him to believe it, but his energy is infectious, to meet him is to love him. The evening entertainment can be patchy but if the violinist is on make sure to see her, she’s incredible! The following can’t help but sound like an Oscars speech but it’s true; Kostas walks so many steps a day checking on everything and his commitment to a high standard sets the bar. Vasilis is one of the kindest men you could meet and cares so much about his team. During the day you have Nikos and Kyriakos looking after you, it says something that after 20+ years service each they still laugh and are a joy to be around. Special mention has to also go to Natalie who works tirelessly. In the evening there’s another dream team. I don’t ever want to go to a bar where George isn’t working, what a gorgeous boy in every way. Michalis is a beautiful soul who is a shining star. Elton works hard and has found his place as a cheeky chappy as we would call him and there are a host of other staff who make sure the place runs brilliantly, so much you don’t even notice them. You are all appreciated. There’s two superstars I can’t leave without mentioning – Spiros, you are the best bartender in town, another cocktail please… and and Anastazia, the very best barwoman there is, your smile lights up the room. To all the staff -please know you are the ones that make our holiday and make us want to come back again and again… The negatives; there are none (and I’m picky). Thank you Avra for becoming a home from home, every time we visit we see more people fall under your charm. I hope all the staff have a well deserved rest and we will see you in 2026.

all inclusive resort close to Rhodes city. easy to go into main town . pebbly beach but easy to get into the sea, beautiful large pool with small dedicated children's area. activities poolside every morning with entertainment lovely staff, particular shout out to Bernadine & guy who wore bl9nde wig 😀. evening entertainment was good too starting with song & dance session for k8ds which had us singing along too, been home a week & still singing 'chu chu wa . . " had range of adult entertainment too ,music, dancing, bingo. Great food available in main restaurant as well as beach snack bar, & small Greek restaurant. thoroughly enjoyed my stay

We stayed here for 3 nights, quiet girls getaway in October.
We absolutely loved it. Beds were comfy. We were very lucky to have a pool/ sea view.
All inclusive food was delicious. Beer was good. Cocktails were average.
Snacks were great.
The location is perfect. 10 minute taxi drive from the airport (21 euro)
Also 10 minute taxi ride to the old town, which is beautiful and a must to visit.

Lots of sunloungers available on the beach or by the pool and there is a beach bar, so you can get drinks and snacks on the beach.

I'm not so into hotel entertainment but the team seemed really nice.
They had an amazing band on one night.

One morning they were offering out trifles to us while we were sunbathing on the beach. That was lovely 😍

The beach is pebbly. But still beautiful.

The only thing I could complain about was that breakfast finished at 9.30am which I felt was too early.
There was plenty of snacks served all day. But the breakfast was really delicious and I didn't want to miss it.

Amazing hotel. Really happy we chose Avra beach hotel.

Can't say enough just how good this hotel is. My wife and I make it a rule to never go to the same resort/hotel/island twice (the world is big enough to not repeat a holiday), but the Avra Beach Hotel might just be the exception to this rule. It is so nice! Definitely recommend the superior family room. The view is incredible. As for the staff... A very warm welcome from the reception staff as soon as you arrive. It is incredibly clean, everywhere. The food is continuously delicious; you'd have to be really fussy to not find something to your taste. And the cocktail menu on the all-inclusive deal is huge. Full credit to the F&B staff. They're an incredibly hard working team and always pleasant. As for the animation team, without doubt the best bunch we've met. Also relentlessly hard working and manage it with the biggest smiles on their faces. They really do bring such a nice vibe. As does everyone in fact. A really nice atmosphere throughout. Excellent beach front location, easy access to rhodes town. Staff extremely pleasant, spotlessly clean, food to suit everyone with a main restaurant two themed eating areas and a snack bar, lovely pool and plenty of sunbeds ..it's why we return every year. If you have any issue the hotel will do it's best to resolve it.

Avra Beach Resort ⛱️ what an amazing place!! Beeeeee was theeee best! What a gorgeous person inside and out. Checked on us, gave us info on places and transport etc and was just so friendly and helpful!!.. The Luxury transport from the hotel Fab €7 return to the old town. The food was amazing so much choice! Staff were all just lovely! We had an issue in our room was sorted straight away. Would definitely go back! Private beach was the best. It's wrong people hogging the comfy neds bed the others ok and plenty of sunbeds. Maybe a few of them need to be replaced but we had such a relaxed holiday. Entertainment at night was great too!! No need to go out but we revisited Semis Taverna in Ialysos and the old town twice. Loved it 🫶 🇬🇷 yamas 🍻
