Mimosa Suites in Rhodes Town

THE WORST ACCOMMODATION EXPERIENCE I unfortunately booked a 16-day stay in a room at mimosa suites as I am a student and needed a place during EXAMS. Following an agreement with the receptionist, I paid half of the agreed amount (before checking in to the room) as I would pay the rest at the end of my stay. Entering the room, I saw a space called SUITES… in a terrible state!! Stains on sheets and pillows, food leftovers in the fridge, hair in the bathroom while the dirty toilet was the highlight of my nightmarish stay. The dust and scattered hairs throughout the room are the bare minimum. Due to my great need for a place where I could read, I stayed at this particular hotel, and as a result, I was informed 2 days before the end of my stay that I had to change rooms because mine had been reserved for others. When I asked for an explanation, the girl at the morning reception (in my opinion, completely inappropriate) in a highly ironic tone, informed me that they had intended from the beginning to EXPELL ME (just as she said) from the hotel for this and they accepted that I pay half the amount. In short, she told me "you either change rooms or you leave the hotel, that's it!!". She forced me, during an examination period, to move all my things, the last 2 days of my stay and while I had booked this particular room from June 4 to 20, because they booked it as "TOURISTS". IT CERTAINLY DOESN'T END HERE. When my mother visited and while she had been informed by phone about the cost of accommodation of 40€ per night, when she checked out, they asked her for 60€ per night, saying that "you are two people after all". Both rooms were doubles and we paid for separate accommodation!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. FAR AWAY!!!

We picked the Mimosa Hotel because it was the cheapest option and we didn't expect much. The room was small and the balcony was very narrow and tiny with a terrible view. The bed was comfortable. Air-conditioning was free. Bathroom was very small. It was difficult to take a shower. Pool area was small and hardly any sun because of the surrounding buildings. The hotel employees were always friendly.
