Alea Hotel Apartments in Ialyssos

Just spent 14 days at The Alea and had a fantastic time. The 3 brothers who run the bar and Nikki the reception manager all do a fantastic job. They are all so friendly and helpful. They do the best fresh orange juice ive ever had. There is a snack bar doing toasties, hotdogs,fries. The pool area is nice and clean i did not go in the pool as it was freezing ( it was october)The hotel is in a prime location for the shops, restaurants and bars.And a 5 min walk to the bus stop to go to Rhodes Town.There is a great supermarket 2 mins walk run by Maria and her husband.And a big shout to the cleaners Anthe and Sevi who do a great job. They all made my stay memorable and i will be booking again for next year. Book the Alea you wont be disappointed.

We have just returned home from a fabulous stay at the Alea Hotel Apartments. Wondetful staff, great location, very clean, decent breakfast, i love its chilled, friendly vibe, nice rooms with a spacious balcony, comfy beds and a lovely pool. Its 10 minutes from the airport and close to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. It is also very easy to get a bus into Rhodes. Highly recommend. We will be back.

our 2nd stay at this hotel , adequate for what we want and what we use it for as a base . nice clean rooms , good shower, air con good , and safe downstairs both come at a price which is usualy the case , never used the pool so can't comment on that ,had a drink in the bar most nights before going out and on our return ,prices standard staff very helpful, stayed B&B , adequate but nothing special, but it does open at 8.30 and nowhere else really opens for a breakfast bfor 9.30 nearby probably come again because it's suits our needs

We’ve stayed here three times now – it’s the only place for us in Ialysos! Alea is a small, family-run hotel. The people are lovely – very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the beach and there are some great shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are lovely – comfortable and spacious – and they are kept very clean and well-stocked. The balconies are really nice. There are plenty of loungers by the pool - you can choose to be in or out of the sun. The pool itself is lovely and makes a great alternative to going along to the beach. When we come back to Ialysos, it will always be to Alea!

Just returned from a lovely stay at Alea Hotel Apartments. The accommodation is well located in Lalyssos, Rhodes. It is less than 10 minutes walk along a straight and flat road to the stone covered beach. Plenty of shops, mini-markets and eateries near by, along with a bus stop to get you around cheaply. We have just returned from the Alea hotel our second year in a row. If you are thinking of booking this hotel do not hesitate they are fantastic. The rooms are very clean plenty of towel and beds always changed. Kettle cooking rings and fridge in the room. Air con worked great. The pool area is clean never a hassle to get a sun bed. Great bar serving snacks and other meals. The breakfast is great for 6 euros. Buffet serving meats cheeses cooked sausages. Bacon eggs, fruit cereal tea coffee. This is a family run hotel Nikky is very helpful and will make you stay perfect. The hotel is right in the centre of the shops restaurants but not noisy at all. Beach 10 mins walk away. Close to a little village with traditional taverns. The airport is 15 mins away 16 euros in a taxi. I booked direct with the hotel and could not complain about one thing. Thank you very much Nikky for making everything perfect. See you next year.

Alea is a very traditional Greek hotel. Rooms and balconies are spacious, and beds are very comfortable. The hotel is situated in the heart of Ialysos close to taverna’s and the beach, and convenient to catch the bus into Rhodes town. What makes the hotel special are the staff, who run the hotel in a very efficient manner, and are very friendly and always happy to have a chat, and give you information about the area. A very special thank you to all the staff who made our holiday memorable, particularly the lady on reception and the lovely ladies who kept our rooms spotless, and were very kind to us and always smiley. Decent hotel, clean rooms, good beds and friendly staff. Swimming pool is very basic,so this hotel might not be very suitable for families with kids.
