Ianthe Apartments & Villa in Oia

My 9 year old girl and I stayed in the villa, and it was really an authentic experience! To live in a typical cave house facing the beautiful caldera, and to wake up every morning to those calm and spectacular views was the main highlight of our visit to Santorini. The villa has a jacuzzi fronting the view that you can enter at any time, a table to have breakfast, and two sunbeds for relaxing. The water quality of the jacuzzi is monitored every day.
The location is wonderful - 10 min walk to Oia center, next to a bus station (to Fira) and next to a small supermarket.
The breakfast is self-served - you have the products in your refrigerator refilled every day. There's a coffee machine and a toaster in the villa. New bottle of water every day.
The villa is not at the same complex with the rest of Ianthe's apartments were the pool is, and if you want to relax in the pool, you need to walk there a few minutes (it's common in Oia that the pool is not next to the apartments) and the wonderful hosts will supply you with towels at the pool.
Anna and Mausura are wonderful and kind hosts! Very costumer oriented! They are really communicative and have a lot of advice on where and what to do in Santorini. Always meeting you with a smile and a glass of wine!

Had a great stay, the location is amazing, a very short walk to the heart of Oia which it’s beautiful caldera views. The hosts, mother and daughter were super friendly and had good recommendations of places to go and ear. The room was nestly clean every day. The breakfast was great woth delicious fresh croissants.

I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. The hospitality and kindness of the host and her daughter went above and beyond anything I have experienced at even 5* hotels across the world. The place was cleaned everyday and had everything you needed. What I loved is the little things they thought of e.g the nicest homemade wine on arrival, pads in the bathroom etc. The views of the caldera during sunset, whilst also being a short walk away from Oia, everything was 10/10. My only regret is not staying here longer.

We enjoyed five wonderful days at this amazing place, perfectly located just a few minutes away from the center of Oia. We stayed in a room with a breathtaking view of the caldera, which made our experience truly special. The apartment is very spacious, and it was cleaned daily. As for our host, Anna — she is the most wonderful host we have ever met. 🫶

Our stay at Ianthe was absolutely AMAZING! We truly have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. We spent three nights here and everything exceeded our expectations.

First, the location is incredible. It’s just a short 5-minute walk to Oia town. The hotel also provides parking, which is very convenient and located just a 2-minute walk away.

Each morning, we were served a delicious breakfast in our room. We got to choose what we wanted the day before, which was a really thoughtful touch. The room had everything we needed—plates, silverware, and more—so we could enjoy our breakfast on the beautiful balcony overlooking the water and the pool. It was the perfect way to start the day.

The room itself was exactly as advertised: spacious, authentic, and spotless. Housekeeping came every day and did an impeccable job.

What really made our stay stand out was the owner. She was the best host we’ve ever had. She went out of her way to make sure our experience was unforgettable. She gave us great recommendations, and even on our last day, she shared tips for the next part of our trip. Since we were leaving early and would miss breakfast, she even prepared a basket of food for us the night before.

We can’t recommend Ianthe enough and would absolutely stay here again!
