Thieves! Avoid !!!!!!

We've been fighting against this hotel for 3 years now. In 2020, they promised to reimburse us when the credit expired. We have NEVER seen a penny of our 800 euros. Dozens of letters from lawyers and e-mails demonstrating that they were legally obliged to reimburse us, to no avail. Rarely have we seen a more dishonest hotel! Next step: contact the European Consumer Centre and report these thieves.

We arrived in Santorini on the ferry and the staff here offered to pick us up from the port, without disclosing a price (we figured that this service could easily be free since it was a 10-minute drive). Once we got there they expected us to pay 25 euros for the van ride for the two of us and our two suitcases. We reluctantly paid and the hotel manager began a very enthusiastic explanation of the island, which ended up being helpful. He explained that there was breakfast in the bar every morning and "greek breakfast available at extra charge". The room itself was very clean and beautiful. The major problem was there was construction outside of our room every morning for the 5 days we stayed there (they were just supposed to be installing glass, but there was lots of loud banging and drilling and our patio never ended up having glass installed while we were there). The maids came every day and cleaned, but also rearranged our things on the bed and in the bathroom constantly. We would come back to our toothbrushes shoved against the counter and our lotions stacked on top of hair products stacked on top of floss and it just looked like Jenga. They also wrapped up my phone charger and hair straightener the first 2 days until I started hiding them (it was just unnecessary and makes the cords break easier). Another downside is that there was no conditioner and the body wash and shampoo are the same formula. Going on, one of the days we rented an ATV for a good price from the hotel. They told us we had to return it with 1/3 tank left of gas and we agreed. That night we had to park it across the street which is not connected to the hotel at all per their instructions. We left it with 3/4 a tank and when we got up to ride it again the next morning it had none. I don't know if the gas was stolen or if their machines were leaking, but we had to deal with getting gas which took an extra hour on foot and was absolutely ridiculous, but we got over it. The night before we left we got back from the grocery store and I set down a liter-sized water bottle on the counter in the room. The counter is uneven stone that has a small glass plate on top of it. The weight of the water bottle shattered the glass. The piece must have been insanely fragile and was placed over an uneven surface to begin with. So, the whole night we had to walk around glass as the reception closed at 9 or 10 every night and there obviously wasn't cleaning supplies. The reception was less than helpful the whole trip anyway. We wanted late night food suggestions and they shrugged and said they didn't know. The stores close early and walking to town is a good 15 minutes from this hotel so we were a bit upset when they were so dismissive. Anyway, we explained what had happened with the glass the next day and an unmarked employee entered our room to clean it up while we were changing. After that we checked out and the hotel manager told us not to worry about being charged for the glass. However, we did owe money for the breakfast we ate 3 days in a row. This is where the problems really started. Inside of the room, there was a sign that said "breakfast is served from 9-12 and Greek breakfast is available for 7 euros" and he had also told us the same thing. So, the days that we got up early we swung into the bar to have a hard-boiled egg and Neapolitan croissant (there was also coffee, one type of cereal, old oranges and some other pastries) not knowing that we were being charged 7 euros EACH TIME. Even if we had known that we were being charged (which they never mentioned before checkout) the selection and quality of the food was NO WHERE near 7 euros worth. We had no choice but to pay it, but we felt completely scammed. We returned home and I was adamant about checking the credit card to see if we were charged for the broken glass and sure enough they charged us $88.81 for a piece of 1ft x 1.5ft glass. I emailed them twice to dispute it since we had so many troubles and they never responded.

You may found better place. The breakfast is tasty and reasonable price, though.
