Olvos Luxury Suites in Oia

I stayed at Olvos Hotel Santorini for 3 days and 2 nights, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The room was comfortable with a lovely view overlooking the Aegean Sea, and we enjoyed having both the swimming pool and the small heated jacuzzi. The staff were also punctual on the day of our check-out and arranged an early transfer to the airport.

However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The breakfast was not to our liking, and we initially thought it was included in the room rate. The shampoo and conditioner provided also felt quite drying.

The main issue we encountered was during our departure. While the staff kindly helped to carry our two large suitcases up the stairs, we had to manage our two hand-carry bags ourselves. My husband has a health issue and cannot carry heavy items, so I had to carry both bags along with my backpack. There were around 30–40 steps, and when we finally reached the platform, we noticed the driver was already waiting there instead of assisting with the luggage. Considering we paid an additional €55 for the airport transfer, it was quite tiring and I was almost breathless by the time we reached the top.

Overall, the room and views were great, but I hope the hotel can look into improving the breakfast, bathroom amenities, and assistance with luggage for guests using their transfer service.
