Came in on a cruise ship, Norwegian, and took an Uber over to old AI, quick easy and away from the large crowds from Cork cruise ships. Standing shopping, beautiful views, and the food is amazing and fresh.

Excellent resort. Dark sand beaches. Lovely sea and watersports. Plenty of Bars/eateries. Great weather.

Resort is quiet, perfect if you like that. Good choice of bars and restaurants. Would definitely go back.

Nice beach with long walking trail. You can also ride around on an ATV here, or sit under an umbrella and take in the ocean with a nice beverage. Decent selection of restaurants as well as bars. Bus is very much not on schedule, so be prepared for long waits.

We were finally back to Julia's place after many years and we immediately felt welcome and like at home as we left the week before. The place has been beautifully renewed and extended with a great new building having a nice apartment with terrace and balcony, which we warmly recommend. Our stay was wonderful, everyone friendly and welcoming. Very close to the bus, the beach. We had delicious omelettes every morning made by the owner, you can get other stuff too. They were there to pick us up at the port. Our tour was arranged for us also. Enjoyed the heart shaped pool and our sitting area. The beds are a little firm.

Beautiful small family hotel run by Julia and her sons, who make you feel right at home with their warm welcome and discretion. Steps away from the beach and numerous restaurants and bars, and within wlking distance (about 30 minutes, don't forget water) from Vlychada and Perissa. Excelent place and grand persons the hotel

The place is fantastic, calm and cozzy. We arrived at 5 am and the host (Mama Kula) prepared the room for us. As I'm a bit stupid I parked where I shouldn't and my car got stucked in the sand :( Was in that moment when mama Kula, her son and other neighbors came to rescue, and I cannot thank them more for the help. Omg… this place is everything we wanted and a lot more. We wanted real Greece and we got it. Our room was spotless, fantastic air con and the shower was fab, hot and powerful. It is very basic with twin beds, dressing table, a small dressing area, a tiny bathroom with a shower attached to the wall. And a fridge. We are fed up of high end resorts with no character. The owner is so nice and helpful. The place has everything you need and good Wifi. The shower is a little uncomfortable cause is in the corner of the bathroom on top of everything but for the price is great. Had a pleasant stay here in this calm place. Situated in Perissa, it’s at a walkable distance from the black sand beach. Takes around 5-10 minutes to walk. We stayed for 3 days and this was a perfect location. Short walk to the beach and beachfront restaurants, and bus stop to go to Fira or Oia. This was a gem of a find. The family were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was upgraded on arrival and we had access to a roof terrace as well as choice of balconies. There were areas to dry any clothing, hairdryer, small hob and kettle in each room. The room was cleaned every day, with fresh bedding and towels, bins emptied and surfaces cleaned. Had a very nice stay in the hotel, its located in Kamari, 3-5 min walk to the beach where you have many places to choose to stay and eat, the bus station is also close, nice and clean rooms, nice and help-full personnel. Had a nice stay with my mother at the Horizon Resort. We enjoyed both Greek breakfast and service. The stuff at the hotel was polite and friendly, open to do their best to make our stay pleasant. The location of the hotel is quite nice, around 12min to the beach and 5min to the central bus stop.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area was very nice, and walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The pool area was very nice, and the food was very good and nicely priced.

We loved our time at Horizon Resort. George was very accommodating, and made suggestions and arrangements for anything we needed. We loved our morning breakfasts on the patio. The hotel is within walking distance to the beautiful Kamari beach...so many great places to eat and shop.
