We booked this back in July and it was a very cheap deal making it difficult to review!!! The hotel is better than average but not as good as “ very good” ( this is the flaw in Tripadvisor rating 3 being average 4 being very good!) We stayed at Perissa Bay for 4 nights in a twin room. The hotel and staff are fantastic. The hotel is well located and has its own bar/ restaurant/ pool and sun loungers on the beach- turn left or right and there are lots of bars and restaurants either way. Came in on a cruise ship, Norwegian, and took an Uber over to old AI, quick easy and away from the large crowds from Cork cruise ships. Standing shopping, beautiful views, and the food is amazing and fresh.

Nice beach with long walking trail. You can also ride around on an ATV here, or sit under an umbrella and take in the ocean with a nice beverage. Decent selection of restaurants as well as bars. Bus is very much not on schedule, so be prepared for long waits.

We were finally back to Julia's place after many years and we immediately felt welcome and like at home as we left the week before. Our stay was wonderful, everyone friendly and welcoming. Very close to the bus, the beach. We had delicious omelettes every morning made by the owner, you can get other stuff too. They were there to pick us up at the port. Our tour was arranged for us also. Enjoyed the heart shaped pool and our sitting area. The beds are a little firm.

Beautiful small family hotel run by Julia and her sons, who make you feel right at home with their warm welcome and discretion. Steps away from the beach and numerous restaurants and bars, and within wlking distance (about 30 minutes, don't forget water) from Vlychada and Perissa. Excelent place and grand persons the hotel

The place is fantastic, calm and cozzy. We arrived at 5 am and the host (Mama Kula) prepared the room for us. As I'm a bit stupid I parked where I shouldn't and my car got stucked in the sand :( Was in that moment when mama Kula, her son and other neighbors came to rescue, and I cannot thank them more for the help. Omg… this place is everything we wanted and a lot more. We wanted real Greece and we got it. Our room was spotless, fantastic air con and the shower was fab, hot and powerful. The owner is so nice and helpful. The place has everything you need and good Wifi. The shower is a little uncomfortable cause is in the corner of the bathroom on top of everything but for the price is great. Had a pleasant stay here in this calm place. Situated in Perissa, it’s at a walkable distance from the black sand beach. Takes around 5-10 minutes to walk. The location is another side of the airport however it is near to the port if you will move to another island of Greece! You should try it! Had a very nice stay in the hotel, its located in Kamari, 3-5 min walk to the beach where you have many places to choose to stay and eat, the bus station is also close, nice and clean rooms, nice and help-full personnel. We had a nice stay with my family. Very good location close to the beach Kamari, 3- 5 minutes walk. A lot of restaurants and shops around. The hotel is very quiet. Overall nice experience, however, the housekeeping was not very good at cleaning and one of the days our room was out of electricity for 4 and half hours, we thought this happened due to the winds since a couple of days prior, electricity was gone in the whole city for 2 hours. We returned to the hotel after such a good stay last year, we booked a pool view room but unfortunately the view was set back from the pool and blocked by a huge bush! This is a lovely friendly and very clean hotel. It's in an ideal position with lots of shops, bars and gorgeous restaurants only 5 minutes walk away. There is no lift. The breakfast was nice and there is a small poolside bar ideal for lunch. The sun loungers are very comfy. Would recommend this hotel.

Visited with my partner at the start of September. The hotel is beautiful. It is clean and the staff are lovely and helpful. Short walk to all the restaurants. Nice pool area with good pool bar although we did encounter some competition for the beds which weren't shaded. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

We had a fabulous weeks stay here. Stayed late September early October for a week as a couple in room 34 upgraded to a superior double room . It's a small and friendly hotel set in a peaceful location. The hotel is well looked after, kept in excellent clean condition and well maintained. Hotel is located 100 yards from beach down footpath, pool area is set off hotel across footpath but very quite area and lots of sun beds. Rooms cleaned every day and staff very friendly.

Very nice and big room, it's cleaned and we had new towels every day. The staff is very nice but the breakfast is simple. The poolaerea is clean and quiet. Aircondition works good and the hotel is just som steps from the beach. If I come to Kamari again, I very much can stay here.

Best place to stay in Santorini ( and not only). Spotless clean, very large and well decorated apartments, close to the beach and away ( but easy reacheable with bus or car) from the pollution and caos of the beautiful Caldera. The owner andhis wife are simpky amazing!! Thank you!!

This is a great apartment complex in a perfect location for exploring Kamari. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The apartment was fine. It was clean with a comfortable bed and the shower was terrific! Slight drawback was the sofa wasn’t comfortable for lounging on. The balcony was a lovely spot for a quiet read. The kitchen is basic with no toaster or microwave but a handy fridge, kettle and a table...

This is a lovely hotel in a fantastic location with such friendly people as owners! They helped us wherever needed, gave recommendations and provided all that we needed. The apartments are spacious and comfortable, but the decoration could probably do with a bit of an update. This didn’t really affect our stay at all. Definitely would stay here again

My family and I stood here for 40 nights this past July to August 2025. I can’t thank our host Dimitris enough — he was always available for whatever we needed or requested. His incredible BBQ evening is an absolute MUST: great food and company. He made us feel like part of the family. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk to the beach. This is a great place to stay close to the beach. We landed in Greece late night and we had to call the front desk since they are not there 24 hours. Make sure you communicate with them what time are you are arriving.
