This resort is a real gem in a fantastic location. There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, and getting into town is quick and easy. The staff were warm and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was tasty and offered a nice variety. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

First time in Santorini a lovely island. Transfer time from the airport was around 25 minutes checked in at reception a very warm welcoming in our junior suite & unpacked all within 20 minutes. Just returned from Villa Olympia, definitely recommend a stay. Villa Olympia is spotlessly clean staff are friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are traditional with air-conditioning. It is a short walk to the beach , shops and restaurants.

Great stay, the host (Ritsa) was very helpful and listened to our queries along with a few issues on the first day which were dealt with promptly without fail. Don't expect 4 or 5 star luxury, this provides everything for a comfortable stay. Convenient location from the airport and a good variety breakfast.

Great hotel, great swimming pool

First impression was this cannot be a 2 star hotel. Nice little petite hotel very close to the beach. 1st morning here and we love this place already.

Great hotel pools. Near beach. Friendly staff. A/C is either on or off, so I could have a hot or cold room (no option to open a window, and balcony door didn't have a security open mode).

The hotel is beautiful and you're a short walk from Perivolos and Perissea beaches, which are both amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful and there is a good convenient store right down the road.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean, spacious and airconditioned. They offer a pool and a hot tub but islands best beach is just 2 minutes away! Great, will stay another time! Great stay, breakfast was included, beach near by, friendly and approachable staff, all speak english and very well organised. The only downside was people swimming in the swimming pool without a shower prior, so pool can be dirty depending on a day.

Staff and management were amazing. We left kids clothing behind and Maria took it upon herself to have it shipped to us at our next travel destination. They made us feel very comfortable and rooms were squeaky clean! We tried yoga which was a great experience for my wife and I on the beach. Would highly recommend this travel stop!

My wife and I came for a cocktail by the pool of Istoria, and ended up staying the afternoon drinking and conversing with Stelios, the great bartender of Istoria. Simply by talking he was able to know which drinks were made for us. I want to come back to Istoria just to catch up with Stelios and drink until sunset. He made our stay remarkable. Best experience I’ve had staying at a hotel, period. The staff was incredibly kind, generous, and very accommodating. After spending time in Oia and Fira, I would not stay anywhere else in Santorini except Istoria. Exceptional all around.

My wife and I shared three incredible days at the Istoria Hotel on Santorini in September 2025. There is a lot of hype about Oia and Fira but you can take a car/taxi to visit those places which we found to be very touristy and crowded.
