Perissa Bay in Perissa

Rarely write reviews but just returned today from a weeks stay at Perissa Bay. What a fabulous place to stay! Stella and and the team are amazing and made us so welcome and helped make our stay wonderful from helping us with a quad bike (total must for exploring the island) to local knowledge of places to go/eat! The room we stayed in was beautiful and cleaned meticulously daily and you can always get a bed round the pool. The beach is literally at the hotel entrance and again staff can’t do enough for you. We loved the day beds too! Thanks guys for a holiday we will treasure Elaine & Steve x

Just returned home from an excellent weeks holiday at the Perissa Bay Hotel. The hotel is in a great beachside location, with bars and restaurants for 1/2 mile in each direction. Like most of the hotels along the front, the hotel bar is on the beachside road, with a the accommodation behind. The pool, the bar and restaurant, the sunbeds and sea are all less than 100 yards from your room. The superior room we had was very spacious with a double and single bed, plenty of storage, and spotlessly clean. The air conditioning was excellent and kept the room cool despite being in the 30’s. The continental breakfast served in the downstairs dining area was excellent. The pool area was very nice with plenty of sunbeds, but for us the padded sunbeds on the beach was where we went most days. The staff offered a very welcome bar and food service at the beds. As a hotel guest the beds were free, but several other hotels along the front are charging €20 per day. We ate at several other lovely restaurants along the front, but found the food at the hotel as good as any. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and rally made the hotel feel like home for a week. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Santorini.

We had a fantastic stay at this family-run hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming. Right on the beach which is lovely and you can always get a sun lounger by the pool or at the beach. Great food and cocktails too! Really good location for shops, bars and restaurants too. We went into Fira one evening and the hotel staff arranged our taxis for us, really helpful and the trip is a must!

Arrived at this hotel, we were given a below level room, which I was disappointed with, one small window and the smallest bathroom I've ever had whilst travelling. I did ask if we could change it, but was told to contact Jet2, as this was the room that they give to Jet2 customers. There was no wardrobes, a few hangers on a rail, with 2 drawers rammed in underneath the rail, on a peculiar angle The bed wasn't the best, when my hubby turned over I was also moved, very strange! The water was salty, not the hotels fault, I bought a bathroom cleaner as I thought it needed cleaning, but it was the water, so many minerals in it, nothing cleaned properly. However, after leaving most of our clothes in our suitcases on the single bed next to ours we stayed, and made the best of a bad job. No kettle, we were given one when asked, however this blew the electrics, so the next day we were given a new one. There was also a small pool, that we only tried once, the last day. Breakfast was continental which was absolutely fine, best yogurt I've tasted, fresh fruit, bread etc we both enjoyed breakfast. The hotel had a patch of beach in front of them which you could use free, whilst staying there. The family were all lovely, 2 sons with their Mother helping out. Food was fine, pint of local beer €4 instead of €6 if you stayed there. We did enjoy our week there, in spite of our dissatisfaction with the room, as we were out of it longer than in it! Would we stay there again? No, the bed and the bathroom weren't up to our standard. The family running it however 10/10.

During our short stay in Santorini we ended the night here 4 times as it was such a chilled atmosphere. The staff are friendly and engaging, making the experience more than just having a drink. Good options on the cocktail / drinks front and during happy hour (which seemed to be almost all night) cocktails were just €6.

We arrived on the 2nd of July at the Perrisa Bay Hotel. It's a family-run hotel, and honestly, they couldn't do enough for you. I loved the double superior room, free sunbeds, and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly, and the service was exceptional. I would definitely go back.

What a fabulous 7 day break we had at the Perrisa Bay hotel. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Rooms were kept very clean and the sun beds were always available around the pool area. The best thing about this special place was the beach area across the road. They had free double sun beds over looking the sea and the waiters would come and take your food and drink orders which was at a discounted rate because we were staying at Perrisa Bay hotel. On a night time you can turn left or right and find plenty of lovely restaurants and bars. 10 minutes walk up the road there is a bus service that takes you to Fira. This is the most beautiful town and another bus trip from here you can go to Oia which again is a magical place. Lots of little shops, bars and restaurants on the cliff tops overlooking the sea. Myself and my wife had a brilliant holiday and will definitely be coming back sometime in the future.

What an amazing stay here . Rooms were beyond my expectation. The staff were all great . Stella on reception , what a delight she is . Nothing was ever to much trouble. Beautiful family run place , perfectly in the middle of the beach so you could go left or right to lots of different bars and restaurant’s .

Stayed at perissa bay hotel two weeks ago,staff are very helpful and friendly,rooms cleaned everyday,hotel right across from the beach,bars and restaurants very near just all along the sea front Perissa is lovely Big thank you to Stella on reception she is so friendly and helpful,and told us everything we wanted to know also her husband Suli who greeted us everyday with and big smile Really good place to stay I recomend to stay here Hopefully returning next year See you then Joanne x
