Menu was reduced to some soup bowls for some reason. They were tasty but small. It wasn't enough for a meal, so we ended up walking to the gas station for some food and deserr. Beer prices were reasonable.

The hostel have very spacious parking for the guest.
Dorm room is clean not too packed.
Share toilets and showers have many. Enough for the guest.

Love how it was a hostel, bar, restaurant all in one building. Was able to check in grabbed had some bite and a beer to relax after a long day. Was perfect.

So this is me looking back at our Iceland "Tour" and the highlights. Ironically, despite the waterfalls (very numerous), glaciers, black beaches and ice caves one of the stand out moments was our visit to this establishment...I kid you not!. We dropped in for a coffee.....a complete surprise, it was very very relaxing. If I lived here it would be my "local". The owner was very welcoming. I could easily have tanked a few beers and whiskies, if I wasn't driving. Yes they do have a range of Scottish whiskies ( so says the Yorkshireman living in Scotland!) and a "happy hour". If I ever come back to Iceland I will definitely visit this establishment. A very highly recommended cafe/bar whether it be a quick coffee or a chill out evening.

The bed mattress was thicker than the dormitory standard, so I slept well. The soup at the restaurant next door was delicious.

Hostel was unclean. One staff member was nice but she left and another guy came in, he was very rude and disrespectful.

Dropped in for a coffee. Best we have tasted since arriving from Scotland.Owner was really welcoming and friendly. Cafe/ bar surroundings were perfect. Wish we had more time to spend here. Would highly recommend a visit.

The owner went above and beyond to assure that we had a great stay. This was my first time at a hostel and it was amazing. There’s a lot of thought and detail that goes into this little gem. Everything was super clean at all times and it attracted educated travelers. Don’t fear staying in a hostel when staying here.

The coffee here is amazing. So smooth, creamy and they have syrups. This was the only place open on our way driving to the canyon and we were in desperate need of some caffeine. I got rh vanilla latte and golden milk latte. A must stop by if you’re in the area.

This hostel was so friendly! We didnt stay here but we did stop in to find something to eat. They had a vegan soup buffet and if was delicious!! The man behind the counter was so helpful on explaining things as this was our first time. Coffee was amazing as well.
