The accommodation itself is satisfying, but I especially recommend the handmade gelato from the farm.
It is suitable for a one-night stay.
The rooms are well-equipped, but the soundproofing is poor. However, the foreign guests are very considerate; even the noisiest restaurant and lounge areas quiet down after 8-9 pm.
The room was magnificent: large, with a breathtaking view of the mountains and glaciers. It looked like a picture on the wall, but it was our bay window.
The staff was very friendly, the breakfast perfect, and the homemade ice creams were delicious and original (dandelion flavor, a delight).
We saw the aurora here, and the front desk lady said, you are lucky, but we can see it almost every week here🥹
Personally, I think this kind of farm-type accommodation is really cost-effective in Iceland, the food is good, and the fee is relatively low. We stayed in a double bed with two breakfasts for about 900.
Facilities: The whole building is very large, with two floors upstairs and downstairs, many room types, wool blankets, and floor heating.
Hygiene: OK
Environment: There is also a restaurant and ice cream shop. I didn't eat there, but at six o'clock I found that there were quite a lot of tourists eating in the restaurant. If you arrive at the hotel late and don't go to the town to eat, at least you won't be hungry 🤣
