Seydisfjördur Guesthouse

The main and the best feature about this hostel is the kitchen: it's fully furnished, has many kitchen supplies (blenders, bowls, pots, pans and so on), has a lot of food ingredients (flour, seasoning, sugar, coffee, tea), an oven, a microwave, a kettle, coffee machine, all the cutlery and so on. The owner is very friendly. The atmosphere is very fun, very cozy when all guests come to the kitchen. This is a very great place to stay, I recommend staying here! 5 stars!

Facilities clean and new it feels. 4 stay in a room with private toilet in the room but 4 people like this write a little bit narrow. Small and quiet atmosphere of the hostel. The old post office, converted from a hotel as the name of the post hostel.

Kitchen/dining area is neat, modern and clean. There is only one stove top though, so can get s bit crowded.

The place was super clean with a lot of good restaurants around. The rooms were quiet and clean, the bathroom was large and clean as well. I would definitely recommend this for any traveller.

Stayed for one night a few weeks ago. Very clean, room was comfortable and complete, we got upgraded to a private bathroom but the shared bathrooms looked very nice. The whole building is modern and comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of free food and an unlimited coffee/cappuccino/espresso/hot cocoa machine. The kitchen is spacious and modern. Besides being surrounded by construction sites (temporary, I'm sure), this was a great stay.

Located directly near the ferry port.
Had a room with a view to the Strandartindur. A good starting point for hikes to the mountains.

One of our favorite hostels. We had the corner room on the 2nd floor. Probably the best view in the house (waterfall view). The kitchen was spotless, spacious, and modern. The bathroom shower space has 2 shower heads. It was very large and can accommodate 2 ppl showering together. Very clean too. We took our lunch in the backyard space. Hosts were very helpful. Was able to do laundry there for free.
