Hotel Grand Regency by JMD Group in Delhi City

Beware of this dubious place and dishonest staff! Absolutely horrible experience. Had to book rooms for an event, the manager offered rooms at Rs 3500 per night for two guests and took Rs 50k as advance payment while online the clear prices after taxes are Rs 2172 per night for two guests with free cancellation and no prepayment needed as well. When we discussed about this with the staff, they completely refused that it’s not possible despite clear evidence showing the contrary. On inspecting the rooms, they were nothing like shown in the pictures - all rooms were substandard quality, dirty, unkempt with paint chipping off the walls, smelly linens, paint patches on curtains, as well as cockroaches on floors and walls! We were shocked to see the state of the rooms and the harassing behavior on the staff’s end. On showing all of this to the staff, they still refused to refund the payment and cancel our rooms. This is extremely disappointing and shocking experience creating total distrust in the staff at this disgusting place. Please beware of such malicious and shady hotels. I have escalated this incident to the ministry as well so strict action is taken at the earliest against such unhygienic, treacherous, and inhospitable companies. I would give them negative stars if possible.
