Our room smelled damp, the bedding was damp and wallpaper was peeling from the walls. We complained and were given another room which was brighter and less smelly, but again the bedding felt damp. The roof terrace does not resemble the photographs and the water in the pool has a 'skin' on the surface. We didn't use it. Beware Google links because many seem to be incorrect and take you to Taj Vilas instead of Raj Vilas Hotel. This is misleading and raises expectations because the Taj Vilas looks like a good hotel, sadly I can't say the same about Raj Vilas Hotel. Other reviews note that this Hotel is on a back street behind the KFC. The breakfast is very basic. The best thing about Raj Vilas is their staff. They are helpful and polite from front desk to manager to security guard

An excellent stay from start to finish. The hotel was exceptionally clean, with well-maintained rooms and a fresh, comfortable atmosphere. What truly stood out was the staff—polite, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Service was prompt and efficient, making the stay completely hassle-free. A perfect combination of cleanliness, comfort, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and pleasant stay. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

This hotel is in quite a noisy and lively area - which is not for the feint hearted ! The pictures on the website show a pool. There is no pool. We did not get our room cleaned or beds made.

The room was in fair condition and the staff was courteous. I was rarely able to acess wifi but the breakfast was good.

The hotel is nice, although reception makes the rooms look like they will be really nice, when it was just average. The TV had no English language channels, which was frustrating. Free breakfast was good, the pool was freezing. The location was ok, close to restaurants and ATMs. No one cleaned our room or changed our towels. Staff were friendly.
