Very advantageous position: there are a lot of cafes and restaurants with local and European cuisine on the street (Via-Via is super) photos of food from there, bars, ice cream parlor on the left - a must-see, money exchange, laundry. The room is small, a little tired, like everywhere else, a "broken" bathroom, but it coped with its duties, they turned off the water once. Breakfast is bad: they put a lunch box with cold rice + a couple of pieces of chicken / fish in batter + a mini banana or a couple of pieces of papaya, a glass of COLD water: (((the courtyard is cozy: it's ok to sit and smoke.

The staff here were all lovely with 24hour service/check in. The room was gorgeous with Indonesian art, batik, and the high ceilinged cobblestone bathroom was awesome! Centre of a touristy district with western food places on the same street, but tucked away with a beautiful leafy courtyard with great privacy. Had to taxi to city centre but if you’re up for it the Beringharjo markets are a doable 40min walk. Free water was awesome and also always had tea and coffee available. Thank you!

Good hotel, great service but lots of mosquitos and big roaches because doors are left open during cleaning.

Strategic location, easy to find meals and drinks. Old style room but clean and neat. Hotel provide a towel, soap, blanket and welcome drink (only water). Entertainment just a TV with local/national broadcast. Low budget hotel but the internet Wifi was quick enough!

Good service. Polite officer, clean, vintage and natural ambiance. Fare is affordable for budget travellers. Strategic place, near some tourism place also.
