1.5 hrs ride from YIA Airport, but conveniently linked to Pukawon Mall that has pretty much everything you need from nails spa, massage to cinema, shops, eateries, restaurants to supermarket. It's easy (and cheap) to get a grab (local Uber) so not a challenge to get around even to further places. The room was spacious even for 2, including the bathroom area. Cleanliness: 100 points Ambiance: Very good Facilities: Overall excellent, would be even more perfect with a bathtub. Service: 100 points The hotel is right next to a large shopping mall, which is super convenient. Borobudur and Prambanan are also not too far away.

The hotel's facilities, service, and cleanliness were all impeccable. My only minor wish, especially for a foreign-invested hotel, would be for more TV channels. I specifically booked a Marriott to watch the Super Bowl this morning, assuming an American-owned hotel would have the option. Unfortunately, none of the channels were broadcasting it. Perhaps there are broadcast restrictions in Indonesia...

A very good hotel with superb service. We were welcomed by hotel staff name Imran. He is very detailed and friendly. Imran knew that we were foreigners so he recommended a restaurant to us to try. It was indeed nice and yummy. Price was reasonable too. His recommendation has added good memory to our visit during November 2025. Thank you Imran.

The room was spacious, and the hotel's garden and pool were definite bonuses. Breakfast was excellent too. It's a great place for a trip to Yogyakarta. Every staff member was incredibly friendly, and I was very satisfied.

The hotel lobby's decor has a strong Indonesian local flair. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the room was incredibly spacious and affordable. The location is also great, perfect for a family of three. We arrived quite late on check-in day, so we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the food was delicious and great value for money!

We had issues with the shower head and water pressure at first but the hotel was very responsive. After their technician changed our shower head, the issue was resolved. They also invited lion dance for Chinese New Year and we had fun watching them!

This hotel is located in the heart of Yogyakarta, with a great location close to the busiest shopping and dining areas. The hotel facilities are excellent, the service is attentive, and the courtyard garden is beautiful. The breakfast spread is incredibly generous.

Been staying at Hotel Tentrem since 2013, since open. Feel great during staying at Tentrem, never been bored. Thank you Tentrem Jogja for the hospitality and great service.

Incredible stay at Tentrem. The staffs were very helpful, going above and beyond in making sure we had a comfortable time.

We really had a good time at Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta, the amenities and room are great. The breakfast selection was quite plentiful and many local delicacies to be enjoyed

very suitable with the facilities available. The breakfast was delicious. One thing important, need additional tissue in the room.

The cakes are discounted in the evening. It's a great place to enjoy a luxurious time at an affordable price, highly recommended. The breakfast was superb, offering traditional Yogyakarta dishes, and above all, the hotel staff's service was excellent. Thank you very much.

It is a very nice and beautiful hotel, with plants and green surrounded, we really love the whole hotel concept. All the staffs are very friendly with smiling face, and very helpful.

Great escape for family trip on the weekend! The vibes is relaxing and peaceful. Hope to visit again next time with a better pool cleanliness.

The hotel is quite old and outdated, but for the peak season, the price is just about acceptable.

Great experience for Family and Business travelers. Breakfast separate is good and alot of option available during lunch and dinner. Alot of activities available for everyone to enjoy their stay.

Although the hotel's location is a bit far from the city center, the environment is very peaceful. Combined with the hotel's design, it's a great choice for a relaxing getaway.

my mom used to stay here whenever we go to jogja because its very close to malioboro st. but the room and services its very good also. if you want to feel ones of the authentic vibes in jogja, i do recommend you to stay here.

The location is perfect, right next to the Malioboro street. The facility is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. The staff is very helpful.

Very nice breakfast buffet with Western and local options. Location is perfect for walking along Malioboro St, people watching, and riding in horse-drawn carts. Staff were friendly. I especially enjoyed hearing and viewing lobby photos of the history of the hotel building from a friendly male employee who worked there since 1991 and whose daughter is turning 17 (I forgot his name). It was close to the place where I needed to go, so it was strategic to me. The environment was quiet and peaceful so I could take a rest accordingly. Overall Inna was the place suitable to the need and goal of my being in Yogya at that time.

We had a truly wonderful family stay at the hotel. The expansive park grounds provided ample space for everyone to enjoy. The waterpark facilities were a particular highlight, offering endless fun for all ages. Overall, our experience was exceptionally satisfying. We highly recommend this hotel for a memorable family vacation.

Hotel are great for theme-park only, very creative and attractive. For the service and room experiences, is not proper as 5-star hotel. It should downgrade to 3-star hotel with the room facilities, design, and services as general. Do not stay here on weekend or holiday period, quite expensive and not value for money

Very good and clean hotel. Advantages for Indian traveller as they have Indian restaurant inside campus.

Here’s The property is quite old and is no longer under Sheraton management, which is noticeable throughout the hotel. The toilets and ceilings feel outdated and in need of renovation, and the same applies to the air conditioning system, which doesn’t perform up to expectations. That said, the staff are very cooperative, friendly, and always willing to help, which is definitely a positive aspect...

You can see the volcano from here. It used to be called Sheraton, and you can still find it on maps under that name. It's a very large property, even with a kids' amusement park that has a small train. Perhaps the renovation costs were too massive, so it seems to be operating on a shoestring budget now. Nevertheless, the service is still very good.

If you're looking for White Lotus kinda vibe, this is the one! I really enjoy staying here! You also eligibe to have complimetary photoshoot from the hotel. The room is spacious with Gunung Merapi view is breath-taking. You also can have Gunung Merapi view when you dine at hotel's restaurant.

Old but looked after hotel. Tasty breakfast with plenty of options to choose from.

The location is good, and the breakfast over the five days was decent. The room is spacious, but the shower leaks and the exhaust fan doesn’t work, making the room humid and causing towels to dry slowly. The facilities are quite complete, but they don’t seem to be well promoted, so they appear poorly maintained—possibly because they’re rarely used. They even have a health room, but it was confusing...

The staffs are very friendly and attentive, beds are comfy and the breakfast has lots of choices to choose from.

Good stuff, excellent breakfast, clean room. Will come again when I visit Jogyakarta

Very nice hotel with good location next to the best mall in Yogyakarta. The hotel retains the grandeur of old era with large and cozy lobby areas with plenty of sofas for relaxing or to meet guests. Good variety of breakfast! Good location near shopping mall 3 minutes walk from hotel! Some local restaurants nearby and food court inside shopping mall. Overall a good stay with very comfortable bed.

It's worth for it's location, service. I recommend when you are visiting Yogya, you stay at this hotel.

My experience at ARTOTEL Yogyakarta is truly impressive — the digital art installations at the reception area, well chosen art sculptures and paintings, the warm staff greetings, the scent, the atmosphere, the design, and the overall hospitality felt like a real piece of modern art. It sets very high standards for the ARTOTEL chain.

The rooms are new, and the facilities are excellent. English communication was seamless. The front desk has a great vibe. Most importantly, the breakfast was fantastic, comparable to a Hilton in China. I'd recommend staying here if you're in Yogyakarta; it's right in the city center.

We stayed in connecting rooms at the 5th floor. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. Highly recommended.
