Daniel Herzliya Hotel in Herzliya

We had a very bad experience in a hotel NYX in Israel. I would like to leave a post in face book in Hebrew and short. To be carful to other to use this hotel! Dear Ms. Dachis,   I booked two Deluxe rooms at NYX Herzliya, for my family of four (my husband, myself, and our two daughters), with breakfast, for the period August 17–24, 2025. We come to Israel every year, as my husband’s family lives in Herzliya, and we chose this property specifically for its advertised amenities and its proximity to our relatives, expecting a straightforward and comfortable week together. Instead, what we endured was repeated humiliation, undisclosed restrictions, and basic service failures that no paying guest should ever face. I travel frequently as a physician and have stayed in hotels around the world, but I have never encountered such disregard for honesty, service, or human dignity. Based on the way we were treated, we would never want to return to this property again.   Key issues (with exhibits): Reservation not honored / daily breakfast denial. We booked 2 rooms with breakfast for 4 (Exh. 1). At check-in we were told it showed 1 per room and we paid to correct it (Exh. 2). Despite that, the system was never updated; each morning we were told only 2 were on the reservation and pressured to pay again before being admitted. Undisclosed pool restriction (18+).A central reason we chose NYX was pool access for our daughters. Neither your site nor Agoda’s page disclosed an 18+ restriction; we learned this only at check-in (Exh. 7a, 7b). Room uninhabitable for two nights.No electricity—no lights or AC—for two nights; no fan or alternative offered. Your reception later acknowledged the outage in writing (Exh. 3). Poor housekeeping. Housekeeping left a note that none were available and to call reception; calls went unanswered and towels did not arrive (Exh. 4). Rubbish and bottles left in the bathroom/shower; areas not cleaned during the stay (Exh. 5). Arranged guests then refused and humiliated. On Aug 22 Ofer spoke with Tomer to arrange breakfast on Aug 23 for his parents and their home attendant; Tomer noted it and charged for three additional people (Exh. 6). On Aug 23, at the restaurant entrance, staff member Kais (קייס) raised his voice and shouted at my husband, refused us entry in front of his elderly, wheelchair-bound father and mother, and even misdirected my father-in-law when he asked for a bathroom. I left with our children while my husband escorted his parents. Your own billing confirms the denial.We were charged on Aug 22 for dining on Aug 23, the very morning we were refused; only at checkout on Aug 24 was the charge voided (Exh. 6). No apology or service recovery. Even a one-hour late checkout request was met with rudeness; no apology was offered at any point!
