Reviews
COMMON AREAS: They're quite small. They don't look like the photos; tiny, but everything smells great.
STAFF: Everyone is very attentive and friendly, the best thing about the hotel.
ROOM: I booked a superior deluxe room with a balcony so I wouldn't have any issues. It doesn't look anything like the one in the photo. It's very small and doesn't have the sliding window that opens completely to the balcony. The bathroom doesn't open completely like the photo. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom has terrible finishes. There's dirt and mildew. The shower screen has holes where water leaks out, filling the bathroom floor with water. The sink has a bad smell because it doesn't have a symphony trap; instead, there's a tube that doesn't prevent the smell from rising, and it's nauseating when you brush your teeth or wash your face. The balcony is full of pigeon droppings, and the chairs are burnt and dirty. The room is only cleaned every other day. It's appreciated that they refill the water and coffee every two days.
POOL: This is the point that bothered me the most. The pool is very small, tiny. But that's not the worst part. The worst thing is that every day they throw parties and it fills up with people who aren't staying at the hotel, and we hotel guests can't use the pool because it's full. From 2 or 3 p.m., people from outside the hotel arrive carrying bags and bags of alcohol and drinks and play loud music until nightfall. They start drinking in the pool, and the water is terribly dirty. I don't understand how the hotel owner allows these parties to happen, where they make no profit because they bring their own alcohol. On the other hand, if the hotel staff could use the pool, they would consume drinks or cocktails, and the hotel would make a profit. It's a shame they manage it this way. You couldn't even use the elevator because outsiders were constantly using it. It's outrageous. It would have been great to be able to swim and have cocktails by the pool, a shame.
In conclusion, I would never return to this hotel, nor would I recommend it.
I don't understand the principle of having a communicating room when you come alone as a couple. You can hear everything that's going on next door, even when your neighbor is talking on the phone at 1 and 5 o'clock (at night).
We reported it but no one offered to change our room or to make a gesture the next day.
The pool, on the other hand, is very pleasant.
Photos are misleading
The pool upstairs is a joke, the hotel owner ovadia refused to refund my money when I asked to leave.
There are plenty of other great options in tel aviv for this price, do yourself a favour and don’t stay there.
