Hotel Boston in Alba Adriatica

I was with my husband for these holidays for 10 days. The hotel itself looks good, not very old or new. One flaw is that they no longer serve meals especially breakfast. They put two machines one for coffee and one for drinks etc. but it was convenient only for water. The hotel room is normal but unfortunately the bathroom has no window, in the bathroom there are no sockets to plug in the hairdryer and not even sockets near the bedside tables to charge cell phones or other, the pleasant balcony with a drying rack. A really important flaw is the absence of even a small fridge in the room since the hotel does not offer meals and it was convenient to keep water or milk for the children in a cool place. tidied up every day.
The affiliated beach is left to decay, a dirty beach full of cigarette butts, plastic cards, etc., mostly the lifeguard Massimo, who was never referred to, was never there to give tokens to people or simply to ask for something. the others of the other hotels were not at all taken care of.
Good service they offer for bicycles and the swimming pool.
The parking included to be reviewed because they offer free parking and surveillance with the camera but there is no place for everyone, one evening we went out and on the way back there was no space and I had to put the car for a fee.
The staff is courteous and welcoming but at the first problem they could not solve ...
Practically a new guest arrived in the room next to ours and smoked on the balcony up to here everything is fine, the next morning we wake up from a cloud of smoke in the whole room that came from the bathroom (where there is a grill / nozzle) we go to the balcony and there was no one, the guest smoked in the room or bathroom. We call the reception and they tell us that they would have done so as smoking is not allowed in the hotel (in the room). The next day the same thing happens but worse so much that I kept coughing, we call and a lady goes up and says that she had already warned the guest and she did not smell smoke because her husband was smoking !!!
We had no words ... one cannot smoke in the room x reads a lot of signs in the hotel and two have not solved the situation neither intervening with the guest nor offering us an alternative .... thank goodness it was the penultimate day of stay.
Summing up I will not go back!
