Friendlt staff Very friendly staff. Went out of their way to cope with our lack of italian.

In August, my family and I decided to stay a few days at this splendid property. We had a wonderful time. The hospitality and friendliness were excellent, and the rooms and spaces were beautiful, with a picturesque view of the Magra River. The breakfast was excellent, with quality products. Dinner at the restaurant attached to the property was also excellent.

In the first week of September, I visited this splendid property with friends. Besides its enviable location at the mouth of the Magra River, I found the decor modern and practical. The hi-tech breakfast is truly remarkable: for just €8, you can enjoy both a savory focaccia and a sweet brioche, all accompanied by coffee and orange juice. I sincerely hope to return and stay longer.

Good pity they don't make pizza at noon

My wife and I stayed at the Maison for 3 nights, It was a wonder ful experience. The service was great, the breakfast was delightful, and everyone was SO friendly. We had planed on going back there this year in October, but we were hit with the corona virus. Hopefully next year will be different.

The restaurant has changed its name and is now called IL REZZAGLIO, from the name of the hand-launched net, typical of the Magra river. My boyfriend booked a lovely dinner at the hotel, based on a tip from his co-worker who recently attended a wedding at the property. We were concerned about driving back to La Spezzia given the roads are very narrow and winding, so we were fortunate to book a garden room last minute. Everything about this place shines. The views, tha staff, the facilities, the food at the restaurant, all 5 star. We had 2 very relaxing days, with a massage each day.

Breathtaking view but poor service The view and the pool are amazing. The food is delicious. However the service is terrible. Waiters, receptionists, barman are very nice but not efficient at all. This was the perfect location to stay for a retreat and also for a day trip into Cinque Terre. Beds weren't the best, pool was closed and dirty but it was still cold weather. Breakfast was cold and basic. Not a lot around we took a shuttle bus to La Spezia for the train station. Staff in the restaurant were not friendly.

The first night we couldn’t sleep because Darcy was snoring and Xavier kept us awake. The bunk bed is really scary and creaky but other than that it was comfortable. It was really hot and there was a heat ray in the bathroom. Second night we slept well and the lady that serves food was very nice and sigma!

They were very helpful when we had a broken window on our car because of a break-in. They let us park it next to the reception, and we could see it from the balcony in our room. Loved it!

The host was very friendly and helpful, he made us feel very welcome in his B&B. It's really obvious that the owner takes care and love of his property and service that he offers. The rooms are clean, especially the bathroom. The garden is a nice feature, perfect for the morning coffee. The street to the house is a little bit steep and narrow, but manageable. I stayed at this adorable little place with my family (my husband, I, and three children). We were welcomed wonderfully; everything was clean and well-kept. Breakfast included delicious homemade cakes and pastries. The house is in a strategic location for visiting wonderful places in Liguria and Tuscany. I highly recommend it.

Excellent B&B located right at the edge of the Ligurian wilderness and at the beginning of the Marina di Carrara beach. The place is charming, welcoming, and well-maintained. The hospitality and cleanliness are impeccable, with attention to detail. There's indoor parking and a large relaxation area equipped with a hammock, hot tub, barbecue, and veranda. Pets are welcome, and the owners offer delicious, hearty breakfasts, carefully prepared by them. We hope to return soon.

Lovely warm welcome from all staff here. Perfect place for family with kid. Good location in not busy area for people who need to escape from crowd. 5 mins drive from the beach and restaurant . I would definitely come back again.

On arrival we were super disappointed, the reception hall and especially the toilet next to the reception were super run down (the doors of the latter could not even be closed). Some years ago we visited Bocca di Magra for the day, and had a drink on the terrace of this hotel. We vowed that someday we would return for a stay. This year we were able to fulfil that wish. Stayed here for a weekend. Lovely family run hotel opposite the small yacht marina. Wonderful to wake up watching the yachts in the little port. A lovely place to stay for visiting yachtees or those wanting to get away from the noisy areas out of season. It has a lovely little garden and pool. The cleaning staff clean to perfection. This is a lovely small hotel in a wonderful setting. We had a room with a terrace overlooking the marina and, with no traffic allowed, it was most restful and matched our expectations.
