Some years ago we visited Bocca di Magra for the day, and had a drink on the terrace of this hotel. We vowed that someday we would return for a stay. This year we were able to fulfil that wish. Stayed here for a weekend. Lovely family run hotel opposite the small yacht marina. Wonderful to wake up watching the yachts in the little port. A lovely place to stay for visiting yachtees or those wanting to get away from the noisy areas out of season. It has a lovely little garden and pool. The cleaning staff clean to perfection. In August, my family and I decided to stay a few days at this splendid property. We had a wonderful time. The hospitality and friendliness were excellent, and the rooms and spaces were beautiful, with a picturesque view of the Magra River. The breakfast was excellent, with quality products. Dinner at the restaurant attached to the property was also excellent.

In the first week of September, I visited this splendid property with friends. Besides its enviable location at the mouth of the Magra River, I found the decor modern and practical. The hi-tech breakfast is truly remarkable: for just €8, you can enjoy both a savory focaccia and a sweet brioche, all accompanied by coffee and orange juice. I sincerely hope to return and stay longer.

Good pity they don't make pizza at noon

My wife and I stayed at the Maison for 3 nights, It was a wonder ful experience. The service was great, the breakfast was delightful, and everyone was SO friendly. We had planed on going back there this year in October, but we were hit with the corona virus. Hopefully next year will be different.

The restaurant has changed its name and is now called IL REZZAGLIO, from the name of the hand-launched net, typical of the Magra river. Very nice restaurant practically on the Magra, it is possible to eat on the veranda, if the weather permits, excellent service and cuisine that uses local products with the imagination of chef Cesare. Hotel near the center of Sarzana, a strategic location for reaching the Cinque Terre and Porto Venere. The staff are friendly and helpful, always willing to help and advise. Rooms are always clean. Parking is available on site.

Convenient parking even though quite limited and narrow, an old style hotel, quite clean, but not recommended for heavy luggage travellers / seniors as they have no elevator to access upper floors

For me it's not worth for my holiday (1 night/149€) also not included breakfast 5€. Wifi is weak. The first time i opened bathroom it was smelly.The bed is not a big bed. The hotel is very decent, spacious and clean room, simple but plentiful and very good breakfast. But the hotel is noisy due to its proximity to the railway line. With Voyages Privés a train ticket to the Cinque Terre was included but they forgot to specify that the train passed through the room.

We were accommodated for 4 nights. Everything was fine and we enjoyed our stay. The location is nice and a starting point for trips. Close to a dog-friendly public beach. Dogs stay for free. My family of two little kids and husband stayed here and it was fantastic. We have travelled all over Europe and this was the best place we have stayed: the pool was great, the food was amazing, the vineyard and wines were exquisite. The staff is very helpful and kind. The structure is immersed in a bucolic context between vineyards and olive trees, extremely relaxing. Passing through on a trip, we booked a night at this hotel in the afternoon. I had a special request, which was fully accommodated by the friendly and attentive staff. The size and comfort of the bed and the cleanliness of the room were noteworthy. Ample parking is available. Parking very easy, but the peculiarities of house numbering in Carrara make it difficult to find the B&B location, which is located not near #18 and behind another group of houses numbered 16.
