The rooms were quite small, but generally adequate for a short stay. Some of them appeared recently renovated. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The only downside was the food. Breakfast was exactly the same every day, with only minor variations in the pastries offered. There were very few savory options, and by the fifth day it became difficult to eat the same food again. Dinner was served as a fixed menu with a salad buffet on the side. Unfortunately, the dinner options were also quite repetitive — mostly pasta dishes, and we were served squid three nights in a row. Sometimes there were meat options, but those were often not well prepared. Dessert was limited and often ran out quickly because other guests who were served earlier got to it first, so by the time it was our turn, there was sometimes nothing left. On top of that, the same dessert was served multiple nights in a row, and eventually even appeared again at breakfast, which felt a bit off-putting.
Another issue with the dining was that food was cleared away very quickly, sometimes while guests were still seated and might have wanted seconds. Dinner was served at a fixed time, 19:15, which meant we had to plan our evenings around it. Arriving even slightly late usually meant missing out on dessert altogether.
Despite the food-related issues, we still had a pleasant stay. Considering the price, it was a good value overall, however, next time we might consider booking without meals included.
We also reported that the user registration page for the WiFi is down and despite showing multiple people the error they ignored is saying that for her it’s working (as they registered long time ago).
I’d love to have someone in the reception who is willing to help and competent and take the guest’s reported issues seriously.
This is completely unprofessional.
The other thing is that they kept our IDs and an hour and a half after check-in we went down to ask them back because we wanted to go for a walk. The owner lady told us that no one had entered our data into the system yet but no worries because our IDs were safe with them. 🤯 So even after an hour and a half and despite our request, they still didn’t return them.
No one even responded to the email I wrote about this. The owner’s behavior is disgusting. Avoid this hotel.
