After checking in, we went up to our room for about half an hour before heading out. We also checked that we still hadn’t received the Brixen Card by email. So I went down to ask the reception.

The staff there didn’t seem willing to talk to me. She said they already sent to the email and asked if we had checked in the junk mail. I told her my friend was still in the room so I just wanted to see the email they sent first, to make sure it was sent to the correct address. But instead, she just handed me the paper where my friend wrote her email earlier (which didn’t help at all, clearly the email wasn’t wrong).

At 14:33, my friend checked again and the email with the Brixen Card link had just arrived at 14:33. We told her we just received, she looked annoyed and sighed without even a simple apology. ***Honestly, I didn't mind if she forgot or sent it late but she insisted she already sent it and acted annoyed at us***

To be honest, she didn’t seem welcoming from the start. During check-in, she placed the keys down quite harshly and rushed through the hotel information like she just wanted to get it over with.

You can check the CCTV on 25/09/25 from 14:27 to 14:35.

But to be fair, the hotel itself is beautiful with the garden and has varieties of breakfast, the other staff were very nice both in the restaurant and at reception, except for this one person. Sorry to give 1 star but she really ruined what should have been a nice stay (and a nice day) for us.

We stayed in the appartement. We had a real good experience. Specially the hospitality and kindness of the personal was worth the rating. The breakfast is real recommendation to add to your stay! We would definitely come back.

The best hotel I've ever been privileged enough to stay at hotel Traube. The normal elegant Eco décor of the rooms, top-notch amenities, and high-quality services & swimming pool are the prime attractions of this hotel. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The friendly and helpful staff were there for every need of mine. Thank you so much.

Cute litte hotel , close to centre of Brixen. Room was a little small but well appointed. Breakfast selection was nice and eating outside in the garden with all birds singing was lovely. Also appreciated the free transport pass which we used to get up to Plose to start our Altia Via hike

I am going to give 5 stars
The room is spacious and clean, bathroom are newly renovated staff are easy to approach and so professional. Breakfast and snacks was excellent 👌
Roaming around using public transport was free because of Brixen card provided by the hotel . Team Traube thank you for your great service❤️

The location is really good, with convenient parking at 3 minutes walking distance. Bressanone is packed with great restaurants, with dim lights and good food for every taste. Plose ski resort is 15/20 minutes by car, which makes it ideal. Val Gardena ski resort is 1.5 hours by car, also a good choice. We traveled by car to Bolzano, Brunico, Innsbruck (Austria), Verona and Lago di Garda, all excellent choices with great options for sightseeing and food. Overall a greatly located hotel if you can rent a car and put some kilometers on it - 1350km total for us during 7 days

Just. Fabulous!
Very quiet place, situated in a quaint little side road in easy walking distance to the city centre. Traditional style with replicas of paintings scattered all over the place.
Some rooms overlooking the charming little garden. Bike storage possible on site, car parking in a different location. No restaurant on site, but in easy walking distance (“Traubenwirt”, see separate review). Great breakfast with wide variety of local specialties. Friendly very helpful staff. English, German and Italian spoken.
The only drawback is that WiFi reception is weak in some spots.

Even tho my stay was quite short, I really enjoyed the time there. The breakfast was international, the garden was amazing and the jacuzzi, being on a someone separate terrace, felt very cozy.
They also give you a free pass for public transport, and a 10% discount on their restaurant (that was actually amazing).
