Hotel Wochtla Buam Aktivhotel am Kronplatz Mit Sauna in Brunico

Just returned from a wonderful four nights at the Hotel Wochtla Buam in Brunico. I forgot the name of the owner Manfred's wife, who I have to personally thank for answering my many questions and also for providing lots of sightseeing suggestions. Also the hotel provided for me and my family Guest Passes to use the regional trains and buses (not sure if these are free or if they are part of the hotel package). There are many positives to mention; the friendliness of the staff, the incredible food (breakfast and dinner) and the relaxing swimming pool. The hotel, in general, was very clean and quiet. The location was perfect in that it was five minutes by foot, walking to the main train station. The hotel also provided a shuttle bus for when we checked out so we could get to the station stress free. On the slightly negative side, I found the shared sleeping area for three people to be too small. Also, as far as I could determine, there was no english language TV in the room, so I would suggest you bring your own Iphone/tablet where you can receive english language news etc (if that is what you require). As far as I could tell, there were no coffee/tea facilities in the room, and it was not clear to me if I could get free coffee in the hotel (or whether we had to pay for them). Regarding the food, my wife and son loved the pizzas, and the desserts were very high quality. The breakfast choices were also excellent. All in all, we had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Hotel Wochtla Buam.

The entire holiday in this location was wonderful! Friendly people, nice room, good food, shuttle bus to train station and a few minutes by train to the” begining of the adventure on the slopes”, nice little spa and the last but not the least, TRX in the room!!!! Thank you!

Stayed by accident for a night, and decided to add another day/night because it's great!
Perfect breakfast! Nice spacious rooms (in the new building) with modern interior and design elements taken from climbing.
A very nice pool, with cozy relax areas. It's also possible to book a private sauna/jacuzzi! The owners are super friendly and during breakfast gave tips for activities. You even get a printout of weather forecast and local activities. Will definitely come back.

This place is exactly what you want. Cosy atmosphere, friendly service and the pizzas are the best around. Love this place.
