Rather unfriendly and cold lady on reception/ bar. When politely requested if we could have some drinks we were very grudgingly served in a most unwelcome manner. Drinks were fine. Won‘t be back.

A small hotel outside the city crowd, pleasant for a vacation with very friendly and hard-working staff. It has a garage, pool, spa and with a little more investment it can be a great choice in the future. Communication with the town and the surrounding ski resort is excellent. All vital points are reached quickly. Director Jovana, kind, hardworking and ready to meet every guest. The breakfast could be a little more varied, but that's why the dinner was commendable.

I had a very pleasant experience with the hotel staff of hotel Gissbach who also looks after Berghaus-Olymp Kronplatz. I had to cancel our family’s stay at Berghaus-Olymp Kronplatz due to an oversight of mine when booking the accommodation. The description at booking. com clearly states that visitors have to be able to arrive before 16:00 and can only reach Berghaus-Olymp Kronplatz by gondola. Despite I made the booking agreeing to pay the full price by cancellation, the hotel waved any fee. This was extremely generous and customer friendly. Simone

The worst location I had ever been in my entire life. The owner and the staff are very very cold with the guest. The rules are so absurd, you have to leave at 9 PM the restaurant where we had the dinner and after that to go in the room because you have nowhere to stay to talk quietly. There was a disco just under our room where people (around 50) from town that comes to party, and in the night right before our departure, at 3AM they still party like in a club. I didn't enjoyed at all. Don't recommend

The staff were very discriminatory and they treated me and my family very poorly (we are turists) than the local italians and austrians. They made us go to sleep at 10 pm while a group of italians were blasting music and singing very loudly until 3 am. And, in plus, the majority of the staff don’t speak english.

Very satisfied with the services at Hotel Gissbach. Excellent food, an extremely rich buffet breakfast. Dinners are varied and with local products. Very nicely decorated rooms and quality service. We will come again.

We have just spent a very pleasant couple of hours in the bar attached to the hotel. Lovely sun terrace (even though there's snow on the mountain tops), friendly service, reasonable prices, a great selection of drinks and pizzas to snack on... A great start to our visit in the region...
