Hotel Post in Brunico

I did not use the hotel services. I visited only the restaurant at Hotel Post for lunch, and the experience was disappointing.

The waiter was visibly annoyed and clearly uninterested in doing his job. His attitude showed irritation from the very beginning. Although there were 4–5 free regular tables suitable for lunch, he refused to seat us there and instead offered a high table with high chairs, which is appropriate for a quick drink or aperitif — not for a proper lunch.

This felt lazy, unprofessional, and disrespectful to customers. When a restaurant has available tables, guests should not be pushed to uncomfortable seating just because it’s more convenient for the staff.

Definitely not the level of service one would expect

BBe careful! I have booked this hotel. It was non refundable booking. Hotel received my money and after sent to me a fishing link. In result I have blocked my card and have a lot of problems with my bank. When I have initiated complience with booking.com, hotel staff lied to booking staff and sent wrong info about this situation. Be careful with these guys! Moreover, when I was upset about this fishing link, this hotel cancel my full-prepaid booking without any money return!

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in a long time. I travel twice a month, so I’ve experienced a range of accommodations, and this one was disappointing despite a few positives. The Good: • Convenient location near buses for skiing. • Shuttle service was a nice touch. • Customer service was friendly and helpful. The Bad: • Zero soundproofing. You’ll hear everything—TVs, footsteps, chairs scraping, conversations. Avoid the first floor at all costs—it’s directly above a restaurant, so you’ll get bass vibrations from the music. • Speakers outside the restaurant are ridiculously loud and start at 8 AM, going nonstop until 11:30 PM. Even if you’re not on the first floor, the noise is hard to escape. • Window proofing? Nonexistent. You might as well keep your windows open because they don’t block out sound or cold. • The bedding is laughable. The pillows aren’t fluffy—they’re so flat you might as well sleep without one, and the sheets are tiny, like something meant for your kid’s Barbie doll. This review is more about the poor condition of the hotel than the staff, who were genuinely kind. But if you value peace, comfort, and a good night’s sleep, look elsewhere.
