Sometimes your expectations despite how high they are get exceeded and that is a wonderful feeling. Aethos Monterosa is an understated gem and everything about the experience is sublime. Probably the standouts (and there are many) are the incredible staff who make the experience of staying a delight and the beautiful food at Summit. There're some great ones in the dining server like Ana and the 2 ladies that came to my room to bring cups and teaspoon + electric kettle and a coffee machine as nothing were in the room (which we've to asked). Mascognaz was brilliant, Chiara and Stephanie were an absolute credit to the hotel, really going above and beyond, with a smile. The staff here were excellent, helpful and friendly with great communication skills. The cocktails were skilfully served and the spa manager was exceptionally helpful. I loved the sauna and the view from the swimming pool. This place is surrounded by epic nature and while the weather was very changeable we were warm and comfortable inside.

Traditional Hotel in an excellent location right by the Crest lift. Very well run by the owner Max and his excellent team, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and plenty of it. Max and the team were excellent. The hotel room was new refurbished, they were so considerate of our kids intolerance with the food . The new wellness room was so good after a days ski ing. You can also get a massage from the young lady training to be a physio! I would highly recommend this hotel and we will hopefully be returning .

This hotel is very curated. Rooms are very small, but you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. This hotel is near at the ski slopes and at the ski rent. I like all of this hotel.

We stayed 4 days at the Hotel Santa San 3* in February 2026. It was very nice experience , we were with my two children of 6 and 11 years old. We had a great time, great price considering the Easter period, quiet and silent place, splendid view of the mountains, very welcoming and helpful people considering that I have to use the wheelchair to move; we took advantage of a spacious studio apartment complete with every comfort.

Amazing stay and a very reasonable price! Dog and kids welcome, everyone was friendly, snacks and drinks from the bar, even helped with suggestions for an amazing local dog walker! Overall brilliant say. Close to the slopes, walks, and nature in general!

The hotel looks amazing, and walking distance from the ski lift. You given a spot by the lift to put your skis. We had a family of 4 and stayed from Dec 26th till Jan 3rd at the family suite. A perfect hotel in every way. The food is near gourmet, the staff is attentive and very professional, and they all make an effort to speak your language. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, with lovely decor. I highly recommend this establishment.

The hotel is very busy and quiet, and overall very clean. However, I noticed that the room we were assigned was lacking amenities, especially in the bathroom (there was no shelf or place to put toiletries; there were three of us, and there was very little space for toothpaste and toothbrushes). Didn’t sleep in the hotel but stayed nearby and came here for dinner. The staff are incredible, the food is exactly what you need after a day on the slopes. They send you the menu in the morning with what’s freshly made that day. A great place to eat if you’re in the area for local food!

Spent a lovely week with my daughter, skiing in nearby Champoluc. The hotel was comfortable and very reasonably priced, clean and well run, and provided an excellent breakfast. The staff were super helpful. Free ski storage is available right by the ski lift, so no need to bring equipment back to the hotel. For us it was a great alternative to staying in Champoluc itself.

Really nice and cozy hotel with its own restaurant for dinner. They have a fully vegan menu with 2/3 options each for starters, pastas, mains, and desserts. So nice and yummy! I got cauliflower nuggets, tofu lasagne and hazelnut brownie! The offering at breakfast was so good and I got a slice of a homemade apple cake and a warm croissant with jam! Awesome!

My husband and I stayed 5 days in this hotel to spend a few days in the snow. Absolutely fantastic hotel in typical alp style design/interieor. Classic Italien breakfast such as cakes and white bread and good coffee. Service minded host. Great value for money stay. Only issue is that there are only 3 restaurants in the town and they are very crowded, so remember to book tables in advance.
