Reviews
We stayed in one of the nearly refurbished rooms, which was great! Much better than expected with a balcony that overlooked the slopes and town.
Having tea and coffee available throughout the day in the lounge area was a nice touch, as well as the ski away day to Cervinia - organised by Inghams.
Everything was smooth and well-organised—highly recommend for a great ski holiday!
Yes the decor is a bit tired but that's a very small point. On this visit the boot room was massively improved by the addition of new boot warmers.
We have met some guests who have been back on multiple occasions. That's the best review overall.
I would highly recommend this hotel and we will hopefully be returning .
Max, his family, and the whole team couldn't be more obliging and helpful.
Stayed half board with Inghams and can't fault the value for money, the food, the staff, and the facilities. Wine with dinner was lovely and inclusive of the package. Salad, pasta course, meat course, dessert and cheese available every evening, and hot/cold breakfast each day. Plenty of choice, and all delicious!
Yes, the rooms are a little tired but perfectly comfortable, always warm and clean after a day's skiing.
The hotel lounge and bar are arranged to encourage conversation, and everyone enjoyed sharing their days ski adventures over ski snacks at 4.30pm.
The new wellness spa is exceptionally appointed, clean, modern, and fresh, with groups limited to 7 persons per hour, so never busy or crowded.
Play area, games room and pool table available too.
Couldn't recommend more!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We drove our electric car from Gloucestershire in the UK to go snowboarding. The hotel has garaging so we could park under cover & there is a space with a socket for charging - it's a very tight space for my car, but I managed to get in. Unfortunately the socket available for charging did not want to play nicely with my car charger so Max arranged for me to charge at the Camp Zero hotel just up the valley as they have Tesla destination chargers. He also gave me a lift back to the hotel after we'd dropped my car off! There is also a public charger in the public car park - I've added some photos.
The room we had (202) has a large Austrian twin bed and a single bed with access onto a large, shared balcony. There is plenty of storage space, a triple wardrobe & some draws. My preference would be for more draws and less wardrobe space but obviously that's a personal thing. The bathroom is looking a bit tired & there's not a lot of space in there due to there being 4 pieces of bathroom furniture - a bidet seems a bit surplus to requirements these days. Max said bathrooms are being refurbished starting from the 3rd floor.
The food is superb & all prepared on site. My only slight criticism would be that the buffet style meals were sometimes not terribly hot. Maybe the food /plate warmers were not quite hot enough 🤷 Most nights my food was going onto a cold plate so it went cold quickly. This was fairly easily worked around by starting with a main course before having a starter & pudding 😁
The boot room is a good size with space for all the kit & boot warmers. The kids club space is also brilliant. We travelled with Esprit so used all the kids facilities. Our little boy had a wonderful time.
The ski resort itself was brilliant. The runs are so well looked after, mostly being big massive wide red runs just the right steepness so you can really go and challenge your technique if you want to or just enjoy and take it easy.
The slopes are not busy and the lift system is efficient. The food on the slopes is excellent and so reasonably priced. I.e capuchino was 1.5euros on the slopes! A home made pizza done in the oven on the slopes was £8 for a Hawaiian!
