Hotel Al Larin in Cortina d'Ampezzo

We stayed at this hotel for a ski vacation after finding it online, as we weren’t familiar with Cortina at the time. The location is convenient if you have a car, as it’s about 30 minutes on foot from the town center and roughly an hour walking to the ski resort. By car, however, it’s only around 7 minutes to the center and about 12 minutes to the ski area.

For us, transportation was a bit of a challenge since Cortina has a very limited number of taxis and the town was quite busy. That said, the taxi drivers were incredibly kind and helpful, which made the situation manageable.

The hotel itself is small but very cozy. The staff were genuinely friendly and deserve special mention, particularly the cleaning lady, who was exceptionally warm and thoughtful, always greeting us, wishing us a great day, and saying kind words.

Breakfast was included and was quite good, perfect for grabbing something to eat before heading out to ski.

Overall, it’s a solid chalet-style hotel and a good place to stay, especially if you plan to rent a car, which I would strongly recommend.

We stayed here for two nights. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was substantial. Room was comfortable. View from the balcony was good. Two minute drive to city centre. 👏

every thing was very close by and convenient. although we had a car there is a option for buses just right infront of the hotel. hotel rooms were very clean and with amazing views. staffs were friendly. breakfast was good. thankyou . highly recommend

This is one of the cheapest room I can find in the area. Room is basic but good enough. I was given a room with balcony overlooking an extremely beautiful view, unfortunately it’s very noisy as well as it’s just next to a busy road. Need to shut the door to sleep. It’s not a huge problem when I visited in early June when it’s not so hot. Everything else is fine, except coffee could be better

We drove from Venice going to our hotel and it was almost 12 am when we arrived there, everything's close when we arrived and there's a signage that says in case of emergency call the number listed on the notice. My wife called and a guy answered saying that he waited for us until 9 pm and that check in should be done before 8 pm. He said further that they send an e mail of the check in time but somehow my wife did not received it. To make the story short he still open the hotel door for us and accommodated us. Checked us in our room and told us that he'll give us the room with a good view. I doubted it since we did not follow the allowed check in time. The following morning when I opened the curtain and stepped out of the veranda, the perfect view of the
Dolomite shocked me. He really gave us a room with an awesome view. Thank you so much. We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Al Larin. By the way, their free breakfast is awesome too. My wife and I will definitely recommend this hotel.
