Amazing location. Right next to the old town. Best apres in town is next door. Restaurant was great, breakfast was good. Excellent service, especially the front desk team. Decor is dated, but I quite liked it. Rooms are funky in design. We had a Mountain View room with a balcony and it was fab. Mostly flat maybe 400m walk to the gondola. Only negative I would say is, no parking.

My family and I just spent a lovely weekend at this hotel. What struck me most was the sweetness of the animals that live here. We had a great room with a view of the town and mountains and ski area. The staff were all exceptionally available, extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful. They were the very best, and caring staff I have ever encountered.

We stayed here with in a large group of friends, rent thing eight rooms. The location in perfect, the staff is accommodating and very helpful, and the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The only thing, if I have to find one, the rooms are a bit small. But for the price, I def cannot complain! ;)

The hotel is on a very noisy road. Rooms have no AC (expected) and no ventilation, which means you have to open your windows to get any oxygen into the room. But when you open the window, you hear all traffic from the busy street.

I stayed here for 3 nights in August with my wife. The hotel is really well run. The room was very spacious and clean. The view from the balcony is really nice. The breakfast is very good. There are two very nice restaurants within walking distance. Overall a really good stay.

We needed accommodation at the last minute due to an error with our booking elsewhere. The staff at the Astoria were very helpful. Our room had amazing views with a balcony. It was our first time in Courmayeur, in December/ January 2026. Hotel Berthod is centrally located and service is top class. Hosts are very courteous and breakfast is very good offering many options. Hotel Berthod is in the perfect location, has spacious and beautiful rooms and food that is terrific. The very friendly staff went above the call of duty for us. The breakfast was really good, and to the same standard as other hotels I’ve stayed at in Italy. They had good variation of mostly sweet but also savoury options, and made coffee or prepared eggs on request. No complaints about the breakfast. Booked this hotel as a last minute ski deal with Crystal ski. It’s a family run old fashioned hotel with the welcome and service you’d expect if you were their family. Fantastic autentic Aosta hotel! We have just spent a week over Christmas at Pilier D’Angle as a scandinavian family of 8, and we had a wonderfull stay. Lovely hotel, very cosy and clean and with excellent food and service. We do not understand the 3 star rating which ought to be at least 4! But we do understand the Guide Michelin recommandation! The spa zone is great! 35 euros for unlimited time. It works till 8 pm. They have 2 jacuzzis - one on the ground floor one outside, and two saunas. The sauna outside is cute and hot, perfect for me. Mountains view stole my heart

Lovely friendly hotel in a perfect position for the ski lift at Val Veny. 5 minute walk down to a hire shop that gives a 10% discount for hotel residents, has ski lockers where you can leave your skis and boots and walk back to the hotel in your own shoes.
