Clean room, lovely breakfast, kind staff, and convenient location close to the bus station. We came to ski and were pleased to learn that there was a daily shuttle to and from the resort (with a super nice driver!) and a ski room with boot dryers. We'd definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay at a Charming Hotel
Hotel Crampon is a beautiful, quaint hotel in an excellent location. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The buffet breakfast was lovely, with everything you need to start the day right. A special mention to Lorenzia, the owner—she was an absolute gem and made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

From the second my friend and I arrived at reception, Lorenza and her staff were, as everyone has already said, smiling welcoming helpful and gave us more useful information than we could take in Room was perfect, lots of storage, little fridge and excellent lighting and warmth. So clean, new towels and sheets half way through the week. Bathroom well equipped even little toothbrush and paste in case you forgot yours. Lounge comfy and great for drinks and nibbles. Breakfast plentiful and delicious the ski room was perfect too Manuel took us to the gondola each morning, recognising our skies from the first morning and loading them up onto the shuttle bus. Collection for return journey was always prompt and on time Lovely position, lots of restaurants and bars for all tastes Thank you all for our week Will return

Avoid this place!

The rooms are small and not well-maintained. The hotel is run by the arrogant Lorenza and Alicia.

The breakfast is extremely poor—no panini, no vegetables, and they only put a tiny two-egg omelet in the serving dish at a time, leaving guests waiting. Just four slices of cheese were available. The selection is cheap, and the service is disappointing.

Problematic Staff Behavior
When we returned from skiing, the hotel owner accused us of damaging a door – a tiny crack, about the size of a pen. We estimated that fixing such minor damage would cost around €10-20, especially compared to the total cost of our stay (€2,200). However, the owner insisted that we pay for it, behaved aggressively, raised her voice, and even called the police instead of checking the security cameras as we requested.

End of the Stay
Eventually, the police arrived and left immediately obviously without taking any action. However, we were forced to leave the hotel at 7 PM and find alternative accommodation under pressure. We have since filed a complaint with Booking.com and are awaiting their response.

We stayed at Hotel Crampon in January 2025 and had an excellent stay at this cosy family hotel. Service was super friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean with mountain views. Shuttle minibus from hotel door to Dolone ski lift is very convenient. Highly recommended!

Great stay
Nice clean rooms and balcony with great view. Very kind and friendly owner that helped arrange breakfast before the kitchen was opened in the morning.

We loved our one night stay here it is a beautiful hotel, with a lovely welcome. Everything was pristine including the boot room where you could borrow indoor slippers! Our room was spacious and had a balcony with a fabulous view of the mountains. All of the rooms must have wonderful views as the mountains tower all around the town ,it is magnificent. We were able to relax with a drink in the sun drenched garden after our long walk. An excellent breakfast set us up for our next days walk. We loved the traditional Italian ambiance in this hotel and would love to return in winter for some skiing. Grazie.

Hotel crampon is ideally located close to the centre of courmayeur. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and provide a free shuttle bus to the bottom of the ski lift. Order a drink at the bar and you get a selection of local salami, cheese, olives and crisps to nibble on. We had a fantastic time for a long weekend skiing and I would highly recommend it.
