My wife and I had a quick one night stay here as we drove through France and Italy. We were absolutely blown away by the service at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs and answer questions. Special shout out to Amedeo who helped us book dinner reservations, guided us to Skyway Monte Bianco, took care of our rental car, and was just incredibly personable. We had room 204 which had an amazing balcony and view of Mont Blanc. The room was impeccably clean and cozy. I think it is the most "at home" I have ever felt at a hotel. The attention to detail was second to none. Every amenity and piece of decor was perfectly placed in the rooms and throughout the hotel. We were there during low season, although there were a fair amount of other guests, the hotel and town seemed extra quiet. My wife and I used the spa the night we arrived and the next morning and it was just the two of us. The included spa, with sauna, steamroom and a heated indoor/outdoor pool was amazing. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant it was delicious. We went back for the breakfast buffet in the morning and there was an incredible collection of local foods, which were also all very delicious. The hotel is a convenient 10 minute walk to the Skyway Monte Bianco, which I would highly recommend. This was my highlight of our entire trip and probably the best hotel experience I have ever had. We will be back, thank you for an amazing stay!

Honeymoon paradise
We were honeymooning for 5 days and we had the most incredible experience. Such friendly and hospitable staff, beautiful food, the best breakfast buffet I’ve seen and a truly beautiful hotel and location with great access to local village, town and the mountains. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to visit again.

Slippers, who cares? Well, I’ll tell you who cares, it’s Alessandra Garin and the great team at this delightful old school hotel. Every detail of this hotel from the herringbone cloth slippers to the Santa Maria Novella products in the bathroom has been thoughtfully considered in a way some 5 Stars miss. Yes, you’re in Entreves, a hamlet outside of town but you get that amazing Monte Bianco view! We walked to the Sky Way Monte Bianco café for coffee every morning before breakfast. They offer a free shuttle into Courmayeur then we hoofed around town or the neighbouring hills and riverside. They even left us a bottle of local fizz and a fruit plate for our anniversary!

Restorative Week
We have just returned from a truly wonderful week staying at the Auberge. From the moment we arrived, to our very early departure, all staff members went out of their way to assist us; whether making arrangements to collect us from the bus station, to booking tickets on our behalf, or offering recommendations on places to visit. This hotel feels like a genuine family-run affair with a sensitivity to guests needs without being intrusive.

The hotel itself is well located on the outskirts of the busier resort of Courmayeur. It has a quaint charm about it, with cosy places to snuggle by the fire and a well-designed pool and spa. The rooms are presented to a high standard with plenty of space to hang clothes and to sit and soak up the views. Breakfast included a variety of hot and cold options, and staff were willing to accommodate our dietary needs, with nothing being too much trouble (vegetarian).

The on-call shuttle bus to Courmayeur and the various ski lifts was a real bonus and we took much enjoyment in the stories/conversations we had with the staff throughout our trips. The ease of distance to Mont Blanc cable car was a particular highlight.

My only hesitation in recommending this property is that it will be fully-booked when we try and return!!!! Wonderful, tranquil and restorative hotel and experience. Thank you for making our visit so special and for answering our many questions. We will visit again with family and friends.

This hotel is amazing!! My husband and I came away for a short skiing break. We wanted somewhere that felt authentic to the mountains, laid back but with a luxury feel, great food and wonderful service. Not an easy ask. L’Auberge has it all. The staff are all incredibly lovely, helpful and go above and beyond. The shuttle bus to take you to the lifts is literally never more than a few minutes away and helps make skiing completely seamless. We stayed in Suite Rocher which has a massive bath in the middle of the room - it’s a gorgeous, spacious room with lovely amenities and amazing room service for cocktails or food. The spa is beautiful - it feels brand new and everything has been taken care of - dressing gowns, slippers, herbal tea, a lovely out to indoor pool, treatments available, sauna and steam room - the hotel was fairly busy but the spa just always felt very quiet and peaceful. Great food in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and the hotel even booked us external restaurants if we asked too. Thank you to everyone! We will be back.

Simply an amazing hotel. Charming interiors with stunning views. Spacious rooms with generously sized bathrooms and comfortable beds. The food is exceptional, and the service impeccable, from the moment we arrived. They have a great shuttle service that will take you to the slope and center whenever you like. Very beautiful , special place. The service was exceptional, a very family feel. The restaurant was incredible. The spa was very enjoyable , we loved our treatments . The only area that could be improved is the pool and outdoor pool/spa. The temperature was very cold. Would be lovely if was hot .
