We had superior rooms with balconies facing the hills and hotel next door. You are surrounded by thermal hotels here. If you don’t won’t to be woken at 5-7am every day by rubbish collection, hotel deliveries for the hotel next door keep the balcony door shut and rely on the airconditioning. We were very happy to stay again at the Tergesteo. The excellent restaurants have stepped up to the next level compared to our previous stay two years ago. The service, amenities, friendliness are top level. A very fine and relaxing experience altogether.

Lovely relaxing hotel and wonderful Terme. Robes and towels are provided. You'll need a hair cap which can be purchased at the hotel for €2 - for both men and women. You'll need flip flops. We visit this hotel every year and can’t wait to get back. Winter and summer seasons are a delight. The pools are great, and the service is excellent. The staff is very kind and professional. The location in Montegrotto is central and there are great places to visit nearby. And there’s delicious gelato in the dining room.

We visited yesterday to use their spa facilities and have lunch. The parking attendant is quite grouchy and tried to tell me off because we hadn't reversed enough into the parking space. I explained to him in Italian that I needed to open the boot of the car and that the car would be reversed more when I had done that. Terme Abano-Montegrotto is just 15 minutes by train from Padua (Podova). A great place for a relaxing day trip. But the thermal baths are owned by hotels there. And very few offer day tickets without spa or medical (mud) treatments. One hotel that provides pool only day tickets is Hotel Petrarca (Piazza Roma 23). The ticket gives access to two large pools that both extend from indoors to outdoors....

Perfect balance between traditional style terme and renewed baths/spa. Highly advised Vital Center: biosauna, steam bath, hot/cold/steam showers with aroma and chromotherapy! Love. It. We greatly enjoyed our staying at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and supportive. We arrived early and they even granted us a free early check in. The room and all spaces, termal pools and spa were perfectly clean at all times. The location was perfect, in the middle of greenery and with the possibility to make landscape strolls.

Was a grand old hotel in its prime, but those days are long gone. Nice breakfast and staff but there seems to be a lot of momentum resisting needed changes. Thermal pools are still nice but the hotel itself requires restoration and updating. Good for a quick stay and as long as you don’t look too closely and keep expectations low you will enjoy.

We have just spent a week at the Bellavista and it was absolutely beautiful. We used it as a base so we could travel a bit. So easy with the train 15 min walk from hotel. Relaxing! The thermal pools and hot tubs were wonderful. I was disappointed in the 25-minute massage, which was only 20 minutes and was mostly just applying oil. The buffet dinner was 39 euros per person, but there was a great little bar across the street for an alternative. There is not much else to do in Montegrotto, particularly on a Monday.

We often choose the Marco Polo mainly for the good food and because they have a garage for bicycles, a service not always taken for granted at spas. This year we also found the cheerfulness and spontaneous smile of Ana who took care of the bar service at the pool. Used the Day Spa package ... Fantastic! Surely having a support room is a very appreciated service especially by those with small children, very nice indoor and outdoor pools. I went at the spa (evening voucher). I really enjoyed my time there, it was soooo relaxing. Compared to the big 'terme' I've been to (like Bormio or Pré Saint Didier) it's very small but it's also more quiet and relaxing, so it depends on what you are looking for. I would definitely go back
