Hu Montescudaio Village in Montescudaio

Brilliant campsite. We stayed for a week in our camper van for a cheap price.
The site offers 4 pools, slides, a park, a kids club with activities, outdoor gym equipment, football courts, on site restaurants (with nice food), a shop, a shuttle bus to the town/beach, bars, clean shower and toilet blocks, activities/sport clubs (some for kids, some adults only), night entertainment and discos and much more. Definitely recommend staying here!
Staff are so friendly too. We had a birthday whilst staying and they came to deliver a present in the morning. It was brilliant! ❤️

Great family holiday resort with a lot of action and activities. Well located close to the beach and within reach of many wine farms and other attractions in the area. The cabins are showing some signs of ageing and use, but in general still good. The staff are very friendly and helpful!

Super, family of 4. Everything easily available for our stay even things we didn’t know we needed, like an air compressor to blow up pool toys

One of the loveliest place we‘ve stayed at. Located in the middle of a forest. Super family friendly. The pools are amazing. One big lagoon like pool, baby pool, and two „big“ pool. They have kids programs and kids disco every night by the theatre right next to the restaurant.

Would’ve given 5 star, but the cabin we were in could use some improvements. We noticed molds on the wooden porch. There were scratches here and there on the wall. The beds could use some deep clean/steam as we noticed some. But then again we’re in the middle of a forest. Having your own pillow with you would be nice since the pillows are quiet small and just „flat“, like in most hotels, resorts, etc. The microwave we had could use a fix up. The plate in it was broken. But most of the problems are more of a „luxury“ problems.

The nice thing is that they have everything there. Also a mini market. We bought our groceries nearly everyday there and it’s honestly not too bad in terms of price.

And for the price we paid to stay there, we would definitely come back.

We have been here last May holiday and the holiday was really great! Beautiful campsite and nice staff! After the first night in the cottage where we stayed we wanted to move to another location but this was absolutely not difficult and we could change for only the cleaning costs. Super service and swimming pool was also great. Especially for (small) children the soft surface of the swimming pool is ideal. The only point where they can improve is the restaurant, the food at tents in the area is much better and often even cheaper. But we had 2 great weeks!

As a 23 year old, the animation group made my stay at this camping unforgettable. My days started great because of the aqua gym and hydro bike classes. Francesca and Andrea are doing these classes with the best possible energy. Which makes it impossible not to smile during the classes. Big thanks to Francesca and Andrea for this. In the afternoon, the animation group danced by the pool. Many times followed by special activities like the colour run. In the evening, the animation group preformed amazing musicals like ‘The Lion King’'Flower' and many other shows. Every day the group rehearsed musicals until 02:00 in the night. While having to work at 8:30 on the following day. My deepest respect for this group for the hard work they do with so little sleep. And even with very little sleep, this group is smiling and giving children and adults a great day. This is a special group with a great dynamic and most of all, great people. Big thanks to Francesca, Camilla, Bryan, Beverly, Filipo, Andrea, Camilla, Fabrizio, Simba Davide, Claudio, Vitoria and Marika.

We stayed 12 nights at Hu Montescudaio Village in July 2024. This was the second year in a row we visited the camp site - and with good reason. Both years we have had perfect holidays in the setting of the village. Everywhere in the village is perfectly clean and beautifully maintained. We stayed in a Mobilehome which was great. It was clean and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The entertainment in the village is next level. There is always something to do for all ages. Out children are 6 and 8 and they absolutely loved going to the kids club. We're from Denmark but our kids are both fluent in English. I think the kids club is great for kids who speak English and Dutch. Otherwise it may be more difficult. Our kids LOVED it! The animation team is absolutely amazing! They are so great with the kids and always greet them with big smiles and hugs. As well as the amazing daytime program with lots of activities, they also provide fantastic evening entertainment. We were lucky enough to catch their amazing musical production of The Lion King. The pool area is great with a good variety of pools. Another thing we really appreciated at the pool was that they not only say that it's not allowed to reserve sunbeds but they actually enforce it too. We were very happy to always be able to get a sunbed as they were not permanently reserved by people not at the pool (a problem we have seen at many hotels in the past). We expect to be back again next year and are all already excited about coming back ☀️

Overall the campsite is fantastic, there is something for everyone all ages. There are a lot of activities to keep kids entertained all through the day.

Pools and sunbeds are plentiful but beware of sunbed reservers. Lifeguards do police it, but not everyone gets caught.

The big letdown for me is service. It's peak season right now. The park is full. However, the bars rarely have more than 2 people working, which makes waiting times unnecessarily long.

We have a basic caravan, which is exactly that basic, so I'm getting what I paid for and happy with that.

Fantastic site with everything you need, just more staff in the bars speed up service you'll take a lot more money.

We had a very good stay at the camping. Furthermore, we had great evenings at the camping restaurant with the best waiter: Ivan. The minidisco is the best I have ever seen! I would really recommend the camping to young families and to couples.
