Hotel Reverse in Torre Santa Sabina

I had originally booked through booking.com and within 5 minutes, the receptionist goes on my phone and requests a free cancellation via the app without clear communication and consent. No water in the room, we had to pay for this. We asked for towels for the pool and we received two old towels, different sizes which cost €10. 20 minute walk from the nearest beach and in the middle of nowhere.

Breakfast, rotten black tomatoes, extremely stale cornetto’s and no fresh juice, only squash. Dinner menu was very basic, again rotten tomatoes in my dish, frozen sweet corn seafood salad with imitated crab! No turn down service, only 1 daily clean.

As me and my mum were relaxing in the pool, the owner (one of the brothers) smacks their very young daughter really loudly in front of us!!! Daughter begins to cry intensely. Then another family by the pool a few days later, the father aggressively twists his very young son’s arm!! In front of everyone and the mother doesn’t do anything apart from kick the son while the son is crying!!

I felt extremely uncomfortable during this stay and we decided to leave earlier than expected. In the dining area, the lights kept flickering, the coffee machine also broke during breakfast service. It felt like 1 star, it did not feel like a 4 star experience at all! I will definitely not be returning, I felt unsafe and uncomfortable. I did not enjoy the food at all.

On the last day, me and my mum ordered an omelette and we kept having to use the bathroom after and we both felt sick. We literally ran out of this hotel. Horrible horrible experience.
