Hotel Regit in Mestre

I booked this hotel to stay near the train station, as my flight landed at 00:40 and I only needed a place to sleep before a short Venice visit and then heading to Turin. Despite informing the hotel of our arrival time, it was closed, and we were left outside in –6°C with no help or response.
Unsafe, stressful experience.. extremely not recommended.

As mentioned earlier, I informed you in advance about our flight landing time (00:40) before the airplane took off. This was an international flight with a duration of approximately four hours, and I received a written reply confirming that you were waiting for us. This communication is documented and can be verified.

After completing passport control and all arrival procedures, we discovered that there were no buses available and no taxis outside the airport. In an attempt to find a solution, we tried calling you and also sent messages, but no calls or emails were answered.

We arrived at the hotel at around 3:00 a.m., where we found the door closed. We rang the bell for over 40 minutes and repeatedly called the hotel phone number, without any response. In total, we remained outside for approximately two hours, desperately trying to reach someone.

You may check your CCTV/video surveillance, which will clearly confirm our presence and what happened that night.

If you believe that your hotel is open 24/7, then this is not true. I suggest that you check how your night staff are actually working, as the hotel was not accessible at that time.

We were left outside in –6°C, in an unsafe and extremely stressful situation, without any assistance. Unbelievable, unacceptable!

They didn't accept checking in even half an hour ahead. And the cleanliness is awful
