We stayed for a week at the beautiful Acanto residence in Lipari. The owner, Giuseppe, was extremely kind and generous with advice and suggestions on places to visit and how to get around the hinterland. He was always attentive to our needs. Gloria, during the abundant and delicious breakfasts, was always available to accommodate the entire group's requests. The rooms at the residence are spacious and clean, the kitchen is equipped with all necessary utensils, and the residence is centrally located: just a few minutes' walk from the hydrofoil embarkation/disembarkation port, the cathedral, Marina Corta, and the bus station for internal connections. If we ever return to Lipari, the green Acanto will be our go-to place again. Thank you, Giuseppe and Gloria.

First of all nice location.not suitable for persons 50+ or with mobility issues.its in the town .up the hills of cobble and narrow paved streets.
The apartment up 2 narrow flights of marbled stairs . Approxmtly 17 steps each . Broken stairway light .dangerous at night. No microwave in the kitchen . Extractor fan broken or not connected . Loose or broken door handle ....shower head broken .needs replacing....
On the good side roof terrace . Nice. .
Apartment is lovely but needs some attention

Residence Acanto offers pleasant no nonsense accommodations in a perfect location for walking Lipari. The breakfasts are extraordinary with both English and European choices. The staff is super helpful in meeting dietary restrictions and for sightseeing suggestions. We enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate to return.

Giuseppe welcomed us in his hotel in the warmest way possible. He even brought us to a viewpoint to watch the sunset. His recommendations were also spot on. The apartment was also great, with a roofterrace and a beautiful view on the bay. Everything was well organized, very picturesque and clean. To top it, the breakfast was delicious. Thanks for the flatwhite and americano with hot water and milk! Hope to see you again sometimes :)

Basically everything! From the strategic location to the amazing facilities (the room and the jacuzzi are beyond great!) to the kindness of the owner. Definitely a place to stay if you have the chance to come to Lipari.

Our experience at the residence Acanto in Lipari was stunning, the place is beautiful and really well kept, a very pleasant flowers smell follows you to the comfy room through a typical narrow path, where you'll find all you need for your staying. The staff is amazing, friendly, kind and caring they will ease your journey giving you good advices and making you really feel on holidays...all you need to care about is relax! The rooftop of the residence has a small secret: an oasis where if you feel like just chilling out, you can go and lay down, sunbathing and dive into a nice pool with hydro massage. We really felt at home and we will certainly go back!

This place has everything. Close to the town centre. Large multi room accommodation. Quiet neighborhood. Fantastic manager and staff. All topped off with a large jacuzzi on the roof. It has a beautiful dining area for breakfast, including fresh made coffee.
