We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Carasco! The location is stunning, set on top of a hill with breathtaking views – very romantic and peaceful. Our room had older furniture and décor, but it was clean and housekeeping came daily. The staff were extremely kind and friendly.
The restaurant was excellent with delicious food, and the breakfast had plenty of options and everything fresh. We also loved the swimming pool and the direct access to the private beach, which made the stay even more relaxing.
The only thing to note is that the hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the city center, and the short climb up to reach it is quite steep. It wasn’t a problem for us, but something to keep in mind.
Overall, a beautiful place to stay – perfect for a quiet, romantic getaway!

My partner and I stayed here for two nights at the beginning of September.

We really like the pool, outdoor space, and steps down to a private bathing and swimming area (it's not a beach) with loungers. She really liked the complimentary snorkelling kit.

The room was airy and spacious with a balcony and nice views. The decor is dated, but the room was clean and comfortable so no real issue.

We didn't eat dinner there. Breakfast was a buffet served on a terrace with sea views, although the choice was perhaps a little limited compared with other venues.

Staff are friendly and helpful.

You can walk into town along the beech but it's a hilly climb, and you'd be wise to book a taxi if travelling with lots of luggage.

Overall, would recommend.

Absolutely unforgettable stay! The location is breathtaking, and the service exceeded all expectations. Fabio, the bartender, crafted the most amazing drinks with a warm and friendly touch that made every evening special. Both receptionists, Cicci, were incredibly helpful and made us feel instantly at home. The rooms are set for renovation soon, and once updated, this hotel will undoubtedly be the crown jewel of the Eolie Islands. A true gem!

The location itself it’s magic with his old fashioned style, the breakfast offered it’s very yummy and true Sicilian (as myself), the room needs some renovation as will happen soon (as advised from the Operations Team). Rocco and Ciccio from Reception were so helpful and kind, Martin a very professional server, amazing staff overall very friendly and helpful. A good experience, surely some improvement needed however they are putting the effort to make improvements happen which is very promising. We will be back for sure to experience again that sunrise by the sea 🌊

The location it’s Pet Friendly, which isn’t common in the island and our little Toy Poodle enjoyed the vacation with us.

Just spent a brilliant few days and nights at the Hotel Carasco. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning outlook towards the water.
The pool area had plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas but also wasn’t too crowded. The hotel had a small bar/food outlet alongside the pool.
Access to the ocean was down some steps that weren’t as precarious as many we found elsewhere in Italy. They also had additional sunbeds and umbrellas alongside the ocean.
There was a nice garden area adjacent to the hotel which had a lovely view towards the north and was well suited to sundowners.

This place is simply marvelous! You can just dive into the water right below the hotel, and instantly see colorful and exotic fish.
The friendly staff helped us with everything we asked.
Definitely worth a stay!

Most of the staff were super super friendly, some others unfortunately … quite the opposite.

Excellent and lovely place with all facilities you need to enjoy your vacation. The hotel rooms are nice, there is a big restaurant and a great pool. Food is amazing. You can reach a small beach with bright crystalline water and do snorkeling. Personnel is professional and friendly. I recommend it.
