Hotel Oriente in Lipari Town

A friendly and warm welcome to the beautiful Boutique Hotel close to the main shopping street and major tourist sites. The hotel is located in a side street, therefore a good night's sleep is guaranteed. The room was very clean, furnished with all essentials inclusive a minibar for own beverages, the bed comfortable, the bathroom had a good size. We travelled in a small group and were absolutely delighted that we could use their spacious garden in the evenings for our get-togethers. The hotel team was very accommodating and assisted with any request. The public areas of the hotel are full of interesting exhibits from former times. I definitely return if my travel plans take me back to Lipari. Thanks a lot to the Oriente Team

This is an excellent family-owned hotel with fabulous decor just a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal. It's location about 3 minutes from the main street means it's nice and quiet. There is a fabulous breakfast from 7:30 each day. The bar is open (on request) all the time, and someone on the desk 24 hours. The staff are very helpful, with excellent English.
Our room and bathroom were very clean. The air conditioner works well as does the shower. The towels were delightful.
There is a very nice garden at the back with plenty of tables and chairs and lots of places to sit in the shade. Breakfast can also be taken in the garden.
If you want the beach, the hotel will arrange pickup and van to take you to the Lido at Coral Beach to the north. It's a pebble beach. For the trip out and back for two people with sun chairs and umbrellas was 25 Euro.
We stayed for two nights. I'd have been happy here for two weeks.

It’s in a really good location just off the main drag. Hotel is old and quirky like a museum. Staff were excellent and spoke great English. Rooms have balconies and this is nice. Only 2 negatives - the bed was like a rock and so both me and husband woke each day with muscle soreness. Secondly there is a great massive telephone tower on top, both of which affected sleep. But overall it was a good stay.

The Oriente hotel is a truly welcoming and comfortable structure. It is a three-star hotel where almost nothing is missing, composed of practically autonomous and quiet structures immersed in a delightful Aeolian-style garden. The furnishings are very original and historic, practically an ethnographic museum. The central street is 2 minutes away. In addition, the helpful and very kind staff gives all the information for excursions, taking care of the contacts for these and for transfers to each location. Good breakfast. Very clean and quiet room. Comfortable beds. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel, characteristic and with a history behind it. Upon entering you can breathe the Sicilian air. In the center of Lipari, from the port you can reach it in 8 minutes on foot. Kind, friendly and prepared staff. Excellent breakfast also gluten-free. I recommend

Very welcoming hotel, simple room very clean, excellent breakfast and attentive and kind staff. Two minutes walk from the main street of Lipari. I booked directly by sending a request via email and leaving a deposit, the quality-price ratio is excellent.

The hotel is a three-star, so I expected a three-star service; I changed my mind!, the kindness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas, the variety of breakfast certainly raise the level. The hotel is full of historical objects from the Sicilian countryside, wherever you look, there is a historical object! I am happy to have stayed here. There is the possibility of having breakfast in the garden by taking the trays with breakfast outside. Reception open 24 hours as well as the bar. Very clean room, white and scented linen. Comfortable mattress! Definitely positive quality-price ratio. The hotel is right near the center, you can easily reach the hydrofoil dock and the marina corta port, the shops and activities. The strong point is the owner, a very determined young woman!! She assisted us by phone when, having made a non-cancellable reservation on a portal, but no longer being able to stay, she helped us find new suitable dates without losing the payment!; but above all, on the day of our arrival, she found a boat all for us to go around, even though there was a patron saint's day on the island and it was impossible to find an available boat, especially because in our group, a friend was in a wheelchair, as he was disabled. She made a series of phone calls of her own free will to help us! And she helped us!! She contacted a person who made himself available to let our friend in difficulty enjoy the sea too. For me, this, this undue attention, is worth more than any star!!

Exceptional structure!! Central location 15 minutes walk from the ferry dock… Very friendly and professional staff, very good and varied breakfast; clean rooms with the only flaw that there are few power outlets but asking at the reception they immediately provided me with a double plug. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Hotel oriente..The bar / breakfast restaurant was the most interesting part of the place, as it is overflowing with Sicilian memorabilia and lots of other stuff. It takes a video to get a picture of it all. Nice place with very nice courtyard and Also , we had our own little courtyard as well

Hotel Oriente was in a great location. Easy walk to the main street and both of the marinas. Friendly and helpful staff with a good breakfast. Lovely garden areas and so many museum pieces everywhere to look at. Would choose to stay again on our next visit to the beautiful island of Lipari.
