The reception and actual rooms are in two different locations - not far away and I do appreciate how the latter is in a residential area so much quieter at night. Spacious room and really good complimentary toiletries. That olive oil shampoo is so good for my hair. The front desk staff is super helpful as well by give tips about where to eat.

We stayed for one night at one of the historic Trulli homes in Alberobello. Let me begin by saying that there comments aren't necessarily meant as a criticism, just that it's almost impossible to know this stuff without going through the process. First off, we received an email asking us what time we planned to arrive, as the check in, is as per usual, 3pm. However, the main office where you have to check in is closed between 1 & 3 pm daily so if you're at all early, you sit outside waiting in the sunshine. We were told check out is 10:30 at the latest. It was made clear that even that was stretching things. When we got to our assigned place, some minor annoyances: no pillowcases on the spare pillows; no Kleenex tissues. And the wifi didn't work. We had parked in a lot recommended by the hotel. The guy at the lot said the car had to be out by 9 am. The person at the resort office said 10:30 am. Given we were ready to leave by 9 we went to the lot only to find a chain and barrier across the entrance/exit. We called the office and they said if you look carefully you can unhook the chain yourself and remove the barrier, and oh yeah, please put them back once you have the car out. None of the above was a crisis just a series of annoyances so I would think carefully before recommending the place.

A great 2 night stay in a trullo in the heart of Alberobello. Our trullo was very comfortable but a word of warning - headroom is limited in places so be careful. Breakfast was provided at a nearby restaurant and was substantial. The staff at reception were both friendly and efficient.

We rented a Trulli that supposedly has an allowable occupancy of up to 5 guests. We were only 4. After the first 2 showered, there was no hot water left. We brought up that issue to the receptionist and she rudely explained that there was a sign inside the bathroom that stated that the boiler was small. There was no mention of the insufficient hot water supply neither at reservation nor at the check-in. We were led to find out ourselves. Also worth mentioning that the bad experience started at check-in with a receptionist who couldn't communicate in basic english and had a strangely rude way of explaining where we were supposed to park our car. She yelled at us that she had a long day and had to listen to people complaining. I told her that's her job and not my problem. All in all, we shortened our stay to only that night and found a more welcoming and comfortable place for the rest of our stay

Really enjoyed our stay. On arrival, you visit their office in the centre of town, and a staff member walks you to your accommodation, so you don't have to search for it! Breakfast is served in a little restaurant just across from their office. It's a simple buffet with juice, coffee machine etc - all very nice.

The room was nice but despite asking for a quiet Trulli, we were on a popular road where load tour groups walked past from 8:30am to 6:30 pm with tour guides (Italian and German) using microphones right outside the trulli. In addition, the music from the square where musicians were using load speakers and singing naff songs badly, was very annoying. I would advise staying in a quiet trullie on the edge of the area or outside of Albarello. You can easily walk around Albarello in one day. After being in Puglia for two weeks, we can honestly say that the breakfast was the worst so far. It was served in a pizzeria, where there was a limited range of food options, food was served on paper plates, we had plastic cups for drinks and I had to have muesli out of a tiny plastic cup for ice cream. No water was put out unless you asked for it. The young male receptionist was sour, unhelpful and grumpy.

We were on a cycling holiday & stayed in our own little Trulli house which was lovely and private and was on a quiet street yet right in the centre of town, it was very spacious and clean. Laura on reception at the Tipico Resort was exceptionally kind and helpful. The hotel reception area and the little bar where the breakfast was served was only a few moments walk away from our room. Everything was perfect, we would certainly stay here again.

First, the Trulli. In my opinion highly overrated experience. They look very nice from the outside, but nothing special inside. However, just as the tour books say, the town of Alberobello is filled with people...worse than Main Street Disney World, that if you want to see it better, it is a good idea to stay there as it is much more than the Trulli. But you can stay there at any other hotel, nicer hotel that pretend to be a Trullo. Now, the Tipico. The staff is super friendly and very professional. We had an issue with the AC and it was fixed immediately (probably change of season). The amenities are ok, but you have a full kitchen and utensils. The only thing I would say is that the door in the bathroom has a frosted glass that does not cover much. And depending which Trullo you get, be prepared to walk uphill with your luggage. I guess you can drive and park closer and then move your car. But we arrive at a time that if we moved our car from the main parking lot to town (where we can pay online), we would lose the spot. By the way, they have breakast which is ok near by. Anyway, if you want to stay in a Trullo, this is a good value and I would recommend it.

What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service we received. The staff members were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and attentive to our needs. They even helped me by arranging a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my wife's birthday, which added a special touch to our celebration. Their thoughtfulness and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel truly valued as guests!

We had a nice stay in Alberobello. The staff was very helpful and service minded. We got a lot of information about where is best to park the car and things to do during our stay.
The city is beautiful and October- November is a great for a visit. Not too crowded, not too hot. Just perfect!
