Not bad HG Inn Hotel about a 20 min walk to all the tourist attractions
within the City.
Room and bathroom were larger than expected and a big plus was real pillows,
yes I mean real pillows!!
Lovely and soft and not the high density polyester type that most hotels use
now to save a few $$$$.
Unfortunately the inhouse internet service appeared to be hacked during the last two days
of my stay with my works provided Norton Software Package indicating that the hotels site
had been cloned?
Lots of breakfast staff present at the weekend milling around the breakfast area but
sadly none could say good morning to their paying guests and were put out if you asked
for assistance.
Sadly this was the deal breaker as I was on a business trip.
However if you are on vacation its a good solid HG Inn Property.

Amazing experience, quiet room, big space, clean and comfortable

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lecce, and I went in with pretty high expectations since it’s a 4 star hotel. On the positive side, it was nice enough for a stay in terms of basic convenience and the general location.
However, I was genuinely surprised at how dated the room felt. Everything inside seemed quite old and a bit cramped, which didn’t match the four-star expectation I had. It just didn’t have that fresh, modern feel you’d hope for in a hotel of that rating. So while it was okay for a short stay, I have to say I was a bit disappointed by how outdated the room felt overall.
However, I was genuinely surprised at how dated the room felt. Everything inside seemed quite old and a bit cramped, which didn’t match the four-star expectation I had. It just didn’t have that fresh, modern feel you’d hope for in a hotel of that rating. So while it was okay for a short stay, I have to say I was a bit disappointed by how outdated the room felt overall.

The hotel meets Hilton standards; both rooms were very clean and spacious. The rooftop pool is large and offers a beautiful view over the rooftops of Lecce, all the way to the sea.
Unfortunately, we had to pay an additional €80 because apparently only one person was listed in the booking (of two rooms) 🤓. Should I book the rooms myself? This meant that the overnight stay cost us considerably more than if we had booked directly with Hilton, which included breakfast, so it cost an additional €50.

The hotel is a bit dated, relatively close to the city center. The staff was excellent.

Dated and stained carpeted room, average bathroom cleaning, no kit (headphones, disposable slippers, etc.). Abundant breakfast with quality products.

Then pool was okay but the birds kept on flying in and drinking from it so I got out of there to avoid avian flu which would have destroyed my vacation. They need to really keep the birds out of the pool.
They also don’t have a clothing steamer or irons so you might need to wear your wrinkly clothes or pay them and they return it back ironed the next day.
The toilets had low water pressure so sometimes to took like 3-5 flushes to get rid of all the toilet paper and poop.
The location is about 1 km from the city centre and a bit further from the Leece station.
The breakfast was comprehensive and had the standard things like hams, cheeses, pancake machine and ice creams and gelato for 15eu . This is probably a good value since a pasta is about 10-13 eu nearby anndni nthe city centre including the taxes.
I don’t know if I’d stay here again.
