Breakfast was served on a seaside terrace drenched in golden light, framed by flowering bushes and a view of the beach umbrellas below. The vibe was: slow, sunny, and sacred

But with the sea just steps away and a scooter waiting for us downstairs, the room was all we needed

We had a “comfort” or maybe “premium” room—it was compact, yes, but immaculately clean and perfectly equipped. The bathroom was functional (though the shower was definitely on the snug side)

You could just as easily imagine it in a scene from Narcos as you could in a vintage Italian postcard. It’s clearly been lovingly updated, keeping its character intact

It’s not buffet-style—you order from a kind gentleman who’s lived in Manchester and will remind you, with a smile, that the hotel’s motto is “pure relaxation

I recently returned from a four night stay at San Michele Hotel & Spa in Sant’Angelo, and I honestly can’t stop thinking about it. It absolutely exceeded every expectation

Everyone on the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in anyway that they could be. The rooms were incredibly charming and the views spectacular. It was just a short walk into town, which was so close and easy

We had the absolute most wonderful time at this hotel. It started with the warmest welcome we got from. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and after a long day journey made us feel like we had found our home

The view from the pool was absolutely stunning, and the beach was just a short walk away. The whole place was clean, cozy, and perfect for a peaceful getaway. We would definitely love to come back!

Unfortunately, our stay was marred by bad weather so we couldn't fully appreciate the pool, although we did visit the nearby beach for a couple of hours

She has incredibly caring and intuitive energy and she could not have made us feel more comfortable and welcome. Pino was a wonderful host as well for all things food. We loved the thermal pool and the cold pool

We would love to come back one day, we were so sad to leave! Highly recommend staying at Hotel Ideal, it is an unforgettable place and even with 2 small children I felt so relaxed and refreshed every day :)

Paola and her husband were kind and very helpful with travel arrangements. Paola got us into a local wine tasting at the last minute and her husband even drove us there

Warm and helpful welcome by Rosario, he is a super host who was always on hand for anything we needed during our 3 night stay. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, the pool and jacuzzi always clean

Breakfast was provided every morning which was delicious, if your fussy about tea, as I am I would say bring a few tea bags. The pool and jacuzzi were spotless. There is an excellent resturaunt next door

He was on the complex available for any reason. The complex itself is fab, great views or forio, the sea and mountains. Our room was spacious, spotless clean and was cleaned every day

Breakfast was great with good options and the rooms clean and fresh with a short walk to nearby beaches ans on a handy bus troute. Will definitely return when we come to Ischia again

The bed is super comfortable and the food they prepared for us was delicious. They even helped us rent a scooter for our stay. What can one want more from their bnb ? Loved it ! Highly recommend staying there

The shuttle into town is great but you are also able to enjoy amazing views & peace & quiet a little out of town on the hill. We had some wonderful home cooked meals there & prices were very reasonable

What a lovely experience it was to stay in this bed and breakfast. Our host organized transportation to come pick us up at the port. The view from the bnb makes the stay even better

The room had a view on the beautiful Casamicciola sea and was full equipped with all the necessary amenities. The place is close up to all the beaches and restaurant. Everything you need is close to it

The sun decks and pool deck have flawless views. The poolside bar service and drinks are excellent. The clientele are mostly pillow Italians. It is sophisticated with a touch of rustic, but not stuffy or affected

Excellent location! Beautiful views, excellent breakfast . The pools were very relaxing. Love the sound of the water from my balcony. The restaurants were excellent especially the one down the hill.

The breakfast is to die for, and so were the dinners. The private natural springwater pools made us not leave the hotel for a whole day. Bonus for the pets that roam free around the place

The hotel is located at Maronti beach. The pool is beautiful and located just across the sidewalk from the beach but still private. It was perfect for our family
